Master Sifu the Legend , the myth.
Sifu is the most beautiful and gentle male Himalayan Red Panda whom I have encountered many times in the forest of Nepal Himalaya. His eyes are hypnotic and I can look at those eyes for eternity. My trackers and guides named him Master Sifu as he resembles the similar whiskers like the Red Panda character in the movie Kung Fu Panda. He occupies a pretty big territory as well.

The elusive Himalayan Red Panda from the forests of Eastern Himalaya. The Red Panda has been split into two different species recently. The Himalayan Red Panda ( Ailurus fulgens fulgens) lives in the Eastern Himalayan sub-temperate forest habitat of Nepal, Bhutan, India( West Bengal, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh) and The Chinese Red Panda ( Ailurus fulgens styni) lives in the mountain forest of Northern Yunan province, China. These two species are visibly different, The Chinese species is a bit bigger than it's Himalayan relative.
Photographing the Red Panda on an ideal perch and light is difficult and you might have to climb up trees to get a perfect image.

Following the Central govt. and state govt. guidelines in this emergency situation , we have decided to postpone all our Firefox Expeditions India tours to April or until the whole Corona outbreak revolves. In spite of huge loss at our end as we have made all the bookings we will commence the tours at the said price as soon as everything will be resolved. Health is the first priority for both our guests and staffs, trackers, porters, guides and their families.
