Tungnath is the highest Shiva Temple in the world and an easy trek to reach the altitude of 3600 mts. Tungnath is part of Panck Kedar Temples of Lord Shiva, located in Chopta Valley.

The distance between Chopta to Tungnath trek is 5 km and the difficulty level is moderate. !!
From ChoPta To Tungnath dham
Tungnath Temple can be reached by a moderately easy trek of 3.5km commencing from Chopta (2700mts). The region receives heavy snowfall during winters making Tungnath temple tough to access….

Chopta is generally considered safe for female travelers. Women should take the same precautions as they would in any other city, such as avoiding walking alone at night and being aware of their surroundings. Women should also dress modestly and be aware of local customs and traditions.

इस झील को बेहद पवित्र माना जाता है. यह झील पश्चिमी गढ़वाल में रूपिन और सुपिन घाटियों के बीच स्थित है. यह जगह हिमाचल और उत्तराखंड की सीमा पर पड़ती है. इस झील का रास्ता सुरम्य घास के मैदानों, देवदार के जंगलों, लुभावने पहाड़ी दृश्यों के बीच से होकर गुजरता है.
