The University of Delhi is the premier institute of higher learning of the country. Ever since its establishment, a strong commitment to excellence has made it a role model and path-setter in India. The primary duty of an Institution is to serve its nation and University of Delhi is no exception. It is conscious about its responsibility and is striving towards it as the students of today shape the

future of the country. The University has a rich academic tradition and have made many significant contributions to the society. The pathway to glory lies behind in its constituent bodies like Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, which is one of the leading colleges of University of Delhi imparting higher education over a period of 45 years by providing a vibrant and intellectually stimulating academic culture, and promoting independence of thought and vision. Thus, recognizing the responsibility of an institution towards the society, Harithkram-Environment Society of Shaheed Bhagat Singh College launched Delhi University Sustainability Forum. Harithkram is guided by the core conviction that young people are a powerful and untapped force that can bring about a positive change in their communities and nations. Such a force is essential to bring about a paradigm change in our society. It is a medium for us to direct our unbounded zeal and energy towards making a healthy and stable society and even a small step counts. Delhi University Sustainability Forum is the brainchild of Harithkram’s mission of awareness “Beyond the Boundaries”. It will provide a revolutionary platform for the students to discuss and deliberate on some of the pressing and intriguing issues related to fields of energy, environment and sustainable development and to find their practical solutions with worldwide thinkers and practitioners, coming from governments, business and industries, multilateral and bilateral organizations, research and academia and civil societies. It also aims to discuss the worldwide industrial development, associated environment and sustainability analysis, and to provide innovative solutions to local industries and governments, to meet the SDGs. it provides a unique opportunity to all the institutions who are working in the same fields to share their knowledge and to be a part of this Knowledge network. It is a unique collaboration to mobilize the expertise and experience from academia, civil society and private industries, business to find the solutions of some of the worlds’ most crucial, tantalizing and interconnected social, environmental and economic challenges with the help of knowledge sharing network and to practice and implement the solutions on grass root levels. Thus, DUSF will not be just a forum for constructive discussions but will also try to find the viable approaches to solve the crosscutting challenges of today’s world. This forum will function with the help of collaborating bodies specialized in the different fields of sustainability, which will act as nodal centres along with a stationed ambassador in each nodal centre. Thus, this flagship program is an initiative to bridge the gap between academia and corporate world to tap the potential available in different specialized institutes of India.

What we consider success in our materialistic society has been demonstrated to be a hindrance to the welfare of our planet. Our achievements, objectives, and so-called "progress" are accelerating the planet's demise. The onslaught of COVID-19 has aided the factors leading to the destruction of the earth. We can't just stand aside and watch our planet die. The road towards achieving these goals with all the adversities will not be easy, but it’s high time we act now!

Harithkram is elated to present "𝗗𝗨𝗦𝗙'𝟮𝟬 𝘅 𝗛𝗠𝗨𝗡𝗘𝗔'𝟮𝟭" on the focal theme "𝗖𝗢𝗩𝗜𝗗-𝟭𝟵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗗𝗚𝘀' 𝗧𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘀," to be held on 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟱-𝟮𝟳, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟭. "Harithkram"-The Environment Society wishes you all a very Happy Children's Day. In India, Children's Day is celebrated on 14th November i.e on the birth anniversary of our first "Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru" considering his contributions and love towards children.

Children are the soul of this world. Their childish activities, questions, plays, smiles, laughs, and every other cherish behavior give us a lifetime solace. ☺
But the world is still a victim of merciless torture towards children.
So..on the eve of Children's Day, Let's stand up against child labour, child marriage, child trafficking and all the evil things happening to them. ✋

So..Let's forget what we are today.. forget all those worries, sorrows and be a child again..👶
Coz sometimes the littlest things take up the most room in our heart! ❤
