PUBLIC NOTICE – Opening of slots at VFS Global for visa applications (17/10 until 30/12)
The Embassy of Portugal in New Delhi kindly informs that VFS will release slots for all visa categories applications (Schengen; D categories and E categories). TODAY 16th October at 5pm. The slots will be opened for the Visa Application Centers (VAC) of New Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Jalandhar, Kolkata (these are the VAC under the responsibility and jurisdiction of the Embassy of Portugal in New Delhi). The released slots will be for the period of 17th October to 30th December 2023.

Please note that applications for DF /EF category – accompanying family members – are not required to have an appointment at VFS. DF/EF category is for family members of the main applicant, so that if you are applying for a D2/D3/D4/D7/DR or E2/E3/E4/E5/E6/E9 visas, make sure you bring your family members along with you for submitting their applications too. EF/DF visa applications have to be submitted at the same time of those applying for D2/D3/D4/D7/DR or E2/E3/E4/E5/E6/E9 visas. Please also note that D6 and DP (Job Seeker) and any seasonal visa applications do not entitle the right to apply for DF for your family members.

Applicants are responsible to book their appointments in the right visa category so that in case you book an appointment in the wrong category, you will not be able to submit your visa application. Appointments are not granted and requested either via email or postal mail.
