Embark on a trek to Vazhvanthol Falls in Kerala.
Vazhvanthol is a beautiful scenic Waterfalls located near Bonacaud (Agasthyakoodam trucking starting point from kerala) in Thiruvananthapuram District.

Starting from Kaanithara, the initial trek, through eucalyptus plantations could be easy at the beginning, but soon the mood changes, the gear shifts, and you would be panting like hell hauling yourself up the incline. Tall trees with their large canopies come as a welcome relief.

This 5 km not so hard trekking to Vazhvanthol is an amazing experience. At top, you can see two waterfalls. Trekking through the forest area about 2 km you will reach the first falls. Can take rest here and enjoy the place. Restart your trek to half a kilometer to see the real beauty

The Land of Smiles has more to smile about as the country undergoes a rapid liberalisation of rules in recent weeks.

The Thailand Pass registration scheme will soon be lifted from 1 July 2022, doing away with the need for international travellers to pre-register their visit to the country or show proof of a US$10,000 health insurance requirement. Both requirements were already removed for Thai nationals since 1 June 2022.

At the point of entry into Thailand, international travellers will only need to show proof of either a certificate of vaccination or a negative RT-PCR or professional ATK test result within 72 hours of travel.

Thailand’s Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) today approved the lifting of the RT-PCR testing requirement for international arrivals beginning 1 May, 2022, and introduced two new entry schemes specifically customized for vaccinated and unvaccinated travellers.

New entry rules for vaccinated travellers: International travellers who are fully vaccinated will no longer be required to show proof of a pre-arrival negative RT-PCR test nor undergo an arrival test. They are still required to register for a Thailand Pass (via https://tp.consular.go.th/) with a Certificate of COVID-19 Vaccination and an insurance policy with coverage no less than US$10,000 (reduced from US$20,000). Once arriving in Thailand, they will be allowed entry and are free to go anywhere in the kingdom.

Vietjet has announced four new services linking India and Vietnam to mark the airline’s post-pandemic return and continued expansion in the country. The services include Mumbai-Hanoi, Mumbai-Ho Chi Minh City, New Delhi-Phu Quoc and Mumbai-Phu Quoc.

The direct services from Mumbai to Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi will commence on June 3 and June 4, with a frequency of four weekly return flights and three weekly return flights respectively.

From September 9, the Mumbai to Phu Quoc route will operate four round trips per week while the New Delhi to Phu Quoc route will operate with a frequency of three round trips per week.

Azerbaijan removes COVID-19 test mandate for fully vaxxed travellers

From now on, fully vaccinated travelers will Not be required to take an RT-PCR test on arrival.
The country has also eased travel restrictions for all domestic flights, and travelers are not required to take pre-departure tests.
Meanwhile, the mask mandate has been removed for public transport and indoor settings including shops and healthcare facilities.

Brexit fallout: Indians can’t fly EU carriers to UK without transit Schengen visa.

Interestingly, Switzerland — which is not a part of the EU — is spared of this rule for its airline Swiss. People going from India to the UK on one-stop flights can do so via places like the Gulf and Switzerland without requiring a transit visa for these places. The other option remains non-stop flights of Air India, Vistara, British Airways and Virgin Atlantic.

Travelling to FIJI just got a whole lot easier!

Effective 7 April 2022, fully vaccinated travellers in-bound to Fiji will no longer require a pre-booked three-night stay at a Care Fiji Commitment hotel or resort. Instead, entry requirements have been made easier, with travellers above the age of 12, simply needing a pre-booked and pre-paid Rapid Antigen Test within 48 to 72 hours of arriving in Fiji.

All travellers must pre-book the RAT test via the Entry Test Fiji site which is now live. Please be aware this is a mandatory requirement and proof must be shown of your booked RAT test at airport check in.

With this travelling to Fiji just got a whole lot easier. All you now need is:
Proof of vaccination
Pre departure negative COVID-test (PCR taken 48 hours before departure, or verified RAT test 24 hours before)
Pre-booked and paid RAT test to be taken within 48-72 hours of arrival into Fiji.

The Saudi Arabian government has reopened the visa-on-arrival program for holders of valid visas for the US, UK and Schengen area, effective immediately. Indian travellers holding a US, UK & Schengen visa are eligible to enter the country. The move comes two weeks after the country lifted all COVID-related entry restrictions and returns Saudi to pre-pandemic levels of openness.

Citizens of any country who hold one of the three visas and who are travelling on one of the country’s national carriers – Saudi, Flynas or Flyadeal – can now receive a 12-month tourism visa on arrival in Saudi Arabia without needing to apply in advance.

The Indonesian government will drop the three-day quarantine requirement for all fully vaccinated international travellers coming to Bali starting on 14 March, under a trial programme. If the government sees positive development, the policy will be expanded across other destinations in Indonesia. The country’s goal is to lift all requirements by April.

To qualify for entry into the resort island, travellers have to show proof of hotel booking payments at least four days in advance. Upon arriving in Bali, foreign visitors in Bali will still have to take a PCR test and remain in their indicated pre-booked accommodation while awaiting their results.

Travel restrictions eased for Switzerland

Effective 17 February 2022, Switzerland has further eased travel restrictions as follows:

Only fully vaccinated Indian travellers can enter (vaccine validity: 270 days from the 2nd dose or booster)
The Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) Entry Form is no longer required
The Swiss Covid Certificate is no longer required for travel within Switzerland
Minors under the age of 16, travelling with fully vaccinated parents, do not require to be tested
Children between 16 and 18 years must either be fully vaccinated or submit a negative PCR Test result if travelling with fully vaccinated parents

Despite a significant uptick in COVID infections recently, Thailand is still technically open for international tourism. With the resumption of a universal 14-day quarantine-on-arrival, though, few are considering travel to the Kingdom despite some attractive options such as quarantining at a golf resort. As of this writing, however, the government is pushing ahead with its 'Sandbox' scheme that would allow vaccinated travellers to enter Phuket without quarantine by July. This is contingent upon the success of a vaccination drive on the island that looks to have 70% of its residents vaccinated by then. So far, they are on schedule with this but, with the recent increase in infections, it remains to be seen if the Sandbox scheme will go forward as planned.
