‘Explore India with us ’ – is a rendezvous with India. An integral part of any holiday trip or exploration is in making it a memorable event of your life. With this perspective in mind, we invite you to visit the country of mystique, heritage, vibrancy and delicacy. A ten day trip, prudently crafted to be a unique life time experience. From the day you land till your return flight; you would be i
n the bosom of a secure, welcoming, traditional Indian home. Simultaneously having adequate personal space and exploring the rich and diversified facades of the country, each day. The vision behind the concept is not only to propagate the culture of the country but also bridge the hearts of the people; in turn creating an everlasting bond - ‘Making India your second home’. Vision:
It all started when I (Shivangi B Kapur) had visited London about 20 years back as a student traveller. A young girl in an alien country not knowing what to expect. Where was I going to live, where to get vegetarian good and especially how to manage my limited finances. However, I had a deep desire to make the best out of my visit despite the many anxieties. I eventually met an Indian family – the ‘Haldania Family’ at a get together. In the first meeting I was touched deep inside my heart by the love and affection of Ms. Surya and Mr. Brij Haldania. They and the family took warm care of me which grew day by day. Our bond became so strong that today we are one family living in two continents. This relationship inspired us to create the concept of having a home away from home. So we have now endeavoured to venture into a small but personalized & honest set up - ‘Explore India with us’ . Shivangi B Kapur :
Born in a traditional Bengali family, Kathak (Indian classical dance form) came naturally, as inherited from her mother. She represented India in International Dance festival as a young artist. Completed the schooling from Delhi went to London for higher education. Whilst pursuing the career as an executive in a multinational, she decided to forgo a lucrative job and move to the education sector and has been pursuing a career as a teacher in Higher Secondary School since. She is married to a loving husband and has two young sons who dream of playing for the country one day. Feeling joy in connecting with people hence making the world a better place is her motto. The best way to propagate this idea is to make people acquainted with different cultures, cuisines and facets of life. The chief aim of this endeavour is to give an experience of a life time to the visiting guests. Surya Haldania:
Amazing but true ! By the time I was 15 I had already lived in three continents. Born in Nairobi, lived in India until 1972 and then in the UK, I understood how daunting could a completely novel culture be. Although my education started in Nairobi and finished in UK, I can confidently say that I have never stopped learning. Having worked with world famous pharmaceutical organization Beecham SmithKline and later with British Airways, I am currently working at Brunel University. Have travelled extensively in Europe, Asia, USA and the Middle East. Cooking is one of the passions I indulge in . Going out for dinners with friends and family gives me a buzz and provides a good vehicle for spending quality time with loved ones. I am also passionate about helping others and have been involved with Charitable events – I have completed the Cancer Race for Life (6 times), 15 mile Night Shine Walk, raised over £15k for Unicef and helped many campaigns dealing with unfortunate disasters across the globe. I believe in Karma and it is good for my spiritual development. I met Shivangi 20 years ago and am fortunate to have gained a trustworthy, responsible and loyal friend for life.
