There are over 200 miles of cycling routes from coastal paths to quiet country lanes, all across the Sindhudurg, which boasts some of the best off road routes in the country whether you are looking for challenging pathways or just and enjoyable day in the countryside. Because of the varied terrain and diverse landscape, it is possible to get a tremendous variety of views on a relatively short ride.
We have designed our cycling breaks for various fitness levels - from a 5 km picnic to a 30 km run.
You have an option of aimlessly cycling around the countryside, a guided cycle safari or even a curated cycle ride all the way into Goa, across some unbelievable country roads.
Our best seller is a 30-odd km ride on a country road through forested ghat section, alongside water bodies, a ferry ride across the Mandovi to the island of Divar. You will cross many picturesque villages along the way and don't be surprised if you get invited by some of the locals for a cup of tea and conversations. ending up with a lunch at the home of Marius Fernandes (known as Goemcho Festamkar – or the festival man of Goa) – who will regale you with stories of Goan heritage and culture, as he shows you around Sao Matias, the Goan Island he calls home.
