Day 05 - Tiger's Nest.
Tiger's Nest, also known as Paro Taktsang, is a breathtaking monastery perched on the edge of a cliff in the Paro Valley of Bhutan. This iconic landmark is a sacred site and a testament to Bhutan's rich cultural heritage. The stunning architecture and the challenging hike required to reach it make Tiger's Nest a must-visit for travelers. It offers panoramic views of the Himalayan mountains and is an important pilgrimage site for Buddhists. The legend of Guru Rinpoche flying to this location on the back of a tiger makes it a place of deep spiritual significance. Tiger's Nest is not only a cultural gem but also a place of natural beauty, making it one of Bhutan's most iconic destinations.
