Krishna Janmashtami is a holy festival of Hindus that is celebrated every year in India. Lord Vishnu was born at Devaki and Vasudev in Mathura prison as Shri Krishna. Kansh was the king of Mathura who was kept his sister Devaki and brother-in-law Vasudev in prison. After the birth of Krishna, Devi and Vasudev took their kid away from Mathura Jail to Gokul. Nand and Yashoda nurtured Krishna. Later Krishna killed Kansh Mama and was freed from prison by their parents.

Every year, this time also Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra started on 7 July with pure enthusiasm. Lakhs of devotees will gather to have the darshan of Lord Jagannath, his elder brother Lord Balabhadra and his sister Subhadra. It is believed that seeing God during the Rath Yatra destroys sins and purifies the mind. Jagannath Rath Yatra is organized for 10 days.
