"For me it's not about becoming pro and all. I just wanna pick up any skill /activity and keep trying and trying to get better at it so that as a person I manage to build that mindset and confidence in myself that I can do anything I set my mind to and be ready for whatever life throws at me
That's what I love about surfing also. You miss a wave, you just gotta come back and keep trying and trying at every wave till you catch one and in that moment you do not even realise how tired your body might be because you're so focused on the goal of catching that wave. Same with kayaking, you forget all your body pains and doubts about your body once you are in the water and your eyes are on crossing those rapids successfully.
I feel like our generation doesn't have that lived experience of practicing and practicing any one craft and realising how practice and mindset to achieve it makes you better at things. Grateful for such opportunities"

White water kayaking season is around the corner. Join us in Kodenchery Calicut to experience and learn whitewater kayaking in some of the most pristine waters and landscapes Kerala offers. You will not only learn whitewater skills but other eq skills such as resilience, staying calm in tough situations, prioritisation etc which can be transferred onto everyday life situations. Our kayaking program will be a 5-day session where you learn how to paddle properly, how to enter rapids, rescue techniques, boat control etc. once you have got the basic skillset and the instructor feels that you are ready then the real fun begins as you experience running downriver on the kayak.
