कोल्हापुरला मिळालेल्या अनेक वरदानापैकी हि दोन देखणी ठिकाणं.

राधानगरी भेटीची सुरुवात शाहु महाराजांनी हत्तींसाठी बांधलेल्या महालापासुन करावी . आता याचेे रुप उतरतीला असले तरी एक भारदस्त ऐतिहासीक वास्तु पाहण्यासाठी येथिल भेट आवश्यक ठरते. मोठाल्या भिंती आणि बारा हत्तींसाठी बारा खोल्या पाहील्यावर या महालाच्या भव्यत्वाची प्रचिती येते.

येथून पुढे हसणे मार्गे दाजीपूर कडे निघावे घनदाट झाडी डोंगरावरची वळणे आणि अजून मधून भेटणारा राधानगरी जलाशयाचा पांडू पाणलोट यामध्ये उगवाई ची देवराई कधी येते समजतच नाही

उगवाइच्या देवराईकडे यावे. स्थानिकानीं गरजेपोटी सरसकट लाकुडतोड करु नये , प्रदेशारीष्ठ वनराजीतरी शाबुत राहावी , हि दुरदृष्टी ठेवुन देवराया जोपासण्यात आल्या. यांचे प्रमाणही मानवाच्या अति लोभापुढे आता नगण्य झाले आहे.

येथिल उंच झाडे व गारवा मनाला भावतो .

जर एखादे शेखरु पहायला मिळाले तर उगवाईदेवी पावली असे समजावे. याची हलचाल - खाउ खाणे पाहताना आपल्याला गुदगुल्या होतातच, पण याचे निद्रीस्त गोजीरवाणे रुप पाहीले कि याचा हेवा वाटुन जातो. काय बिनधास्त ताणुन देतो हा प्राणी.

यानंतर आपण दाजीपूर मध्ये येतो एक दिवसीय सहलीत दाजीपुढरच्या अभय अरण्यात जाणे वेळेअभावी जमत जरी नसले तरी या अभयारण्याच्या काठाकाठाने आपण धरणाचं पाणलोट पहात आपला प्रवास सुरू ठेवायचा

भोगावती नदीवरील लक्ष्मी तलाव म्हणजेच राधानगरी धरण. छत्रपति शाहु महाराजांतील द्रष्ट्या राजाने रयतेला दिलेले आंदण. या जलाशयाचे सौंदर्य पाहायला ओलवण कारीवडे मार्गे राउतवाडीला पोहोचताना डोंगरउतारावरील भात - नाचण्याची खाचर , वळणदार रस्ते, वाटेवरील गावातील ग्रामजीवन पहायला मिळते.

राऊतवाडी धबधबा पाणी असो वा नसो याठिकाणी येण्याची मजा काही औरच.

येथेच दुपारच्या भोजनाचा कार्यक्रम पूर्ण करायचा आणि आणि पुढे मनवाडमार्गे पडसाळी कडे निघायचे
