We love our jungles, we love our nature and we love our tigers… It is very true, that, if we the human beings, do not love these jungle peoples, we cannot save our beautiful planet. So, for the sake of eco-system, we have to save the tigers, have to save forest, have to save water to save our Earth. Millions years ago, we, the human beings, started our journey through the forest. In our civilized
society jungles are made with concrete. Colour became grey instead of green. Perhaps, it is the most beautiful thing in the world, to see or locate a tiger in to the wild. In 2011, India hosted the “World Environment Day”. It is very glad news to us being Indian. But, somehow there are some questions regarding this point. Right now, in the world, 330 billion USD business is going on regarding forest. Vietnam and Chin, these two countries, are now the main wood supplier in the world. And who are the buyers? America and some rich countries of Europe obviously. Most of the countries in South Asia, lost their natural forest for the sake of this business. Now the question is, if it is time for India now? In past 100 years, America and Europe do not lost 1% of their natural forest. And on the contrary, from 1990 to 2000, Asia Pacific Region lost averagely 70 lakh hector natural forest per every year. Recently Asia Pacific Forestry Outlook Study announced that 45 countries of Asia Pacifica have the world’s lowest density of Natural forest. And these countries are the habitation of 23% of world’s population, while, this area contains only 2% of world’s forest area. India has only 9% forest area of its total land. Rich countries are saving their forests and we are selling it to them. In countries like India, 60-75% of people depend on forest. In world, 160 to 175 core people are directly involved with forest. Obviously wood is needed for various works. But for that we have to plant more trees for business purpose of wood. We should not devastate our forest for the sake of business. For the betterment of the world, we have to ensure our Nature. So, there for, let’s walk forward and pray, that, we should have an answer to our next generation of their question “what is forest?”, “what is tiger?” Otherwise black days are coming ahead and Nature will take revenge on us for what we had done. Let’s take an oath that, we will not hurt beauties, those live on our beautiful planet.
