Unfortunately we've had to cancel the upcoming Raigad expedition in view of the health risk that surrounds it. Raigad being the capital of Maratha Empire, it has always kept people's wellbeing in the forefront.
As we've promised, the entire amount will be refunded to all the participants. We wish you and your family good health 🙏🌻

Peb/vikatgad fort 📍
2nd October 2021.

This was our 3rd and last trek of this monsoon season this year.

This was our and 's first time as trek leaders so we were not sure as what was in store for us.

Everyone was new to us. But despite the diversity in age, stamina, language barrier. We managed to complete the trek successfully. And this was only possible because of the beautiful view of the destination⛰️. Despite going there only before a week. The route looked totally different to me.
As they say "a mountain is ever-changing,it's never the same"

We'll meet again in December.
Until then we wish you a very Happy Diwali!🪔

This was my very first trek as a trek leader and one of the most profound experiences. 🙏🌱
I've known most of these people from before we went on this trek. Yet everybody had a vibrant aura here, something I had never seen before. I didn't have to lead, the nature took the lead. All of us collectively were nurtured, recharged by this serenity.
P.S. we took a break at Peth gaon and resumed the trek, after a small rocky climb we reached a comparatively even trail. I reached here, a little out of breath and looked to my right. A humongous mountain had put up a breathtaking display of these narrow but massive waterfalls. I had the widest smile across my face, and I kept looking at it as the clouds covered and uncovered this view. It was as if the entire atmosphere here was smiling back at me 🌻:')

On August 19, 2021 we took our first trek to Sondai fort. 🍃
Sondai fort was used as a watchtower and monsoon season is when the Sahyadri is in its full bloom
Our trek leader for this trek and his trusted companions , took 19 beautiful people on this journey.

Everybody was extremely enthusiastic to commence this trek. Starting the ascent surrounded by nature in all its glory we reached the top around 11 AM. The panoramic views of Morbe Dam, Prabalgad, Irshalgad, Rajmachi, Songiri forts, Karnala Fort, and Matheran mountain range really humbled everybody.🙏🌼

We were all soaking in every bit of these misty mountain tops, narrow streams, hidden waterfalls, lush green trees and plateaus.
After our lungs were filled with the fresh air we started the descent and reached the basecamp around 1 PM. On our way we planned to visit a waterfall nearby. Drenched in the stream of this waterfall in no time, we were stunned by how pure and clean the flow was. After finishing our lunch while looking at the serene views we started our journey back to Mumbai.

Our hearts were filled by seeing wide smiles on everybody's faces.
The joyous nature of being cannot be hidden when we are in the lap of nature, even if it's for a day :)

Team Aikyam was really delighted to share this experience with every one of you. We look forward to everything that is to come 🌻

When we recognise these elements as our basis it naturally intensifies a sense of responsibility towards them.
By sustainable trekking we mean, keeping the nature as it is.
Taking care of our waste. 🌱

A place where there are no sounds of machines and quietly we can listen to the sounds of the trees, the breeze, the water, this sensitivity has incredible effects on our system. It not only makes us physically healthy, mentally healthy but also far more sensible, accepting and wonderful kinds of human beings. This transformation is Rejuvenation. Rejuvenation cannot be explained it can only be experienced. 🌻🙏

Everything in this cosmos is made up of 5 elements.
पृथ्वी:/ Earth (Flesh, bones & organs) 🌱
अप:/Water (Water, incl blood) 🌊
अग्नि/ Fire (Body heat) 🔥
वायु:/Air (Air) 🌬️
आकाश/ Space/Atmosphere (Astral body) 🌌
They are the basis of our physical existence. Trekking serves as an opportunity to be in the vicinity of these elements in their purest form. It serves as a stimulus for us to look beyond our ways of ignoring these fundamental aspects.
Over time, most of us have hampered our basic energies in some or the other way.
A union with nature pushes us to experience these elements that we are made up of, in their purest form. Being in the mountains, and uniting with the nature helps us recognise our basis and enables us to *rebuild* ourselves willingly 🌼🌻

Namaskar everyone 🙏🏼
We are a trekking community, born with a mission to re-establish a beautiful way of being.

Over the years we have realised, nature makes inclusivity easier. When we are surrounded by nature, we are well synchronised with ourselves and everything around us.
It's not a new concept, the ancient scriptures have always mentioned, everything this universe contains to be one. Science backs this when it says that energy can neither be created nor destroyed.
Everything that has led to current existence, came from a single substance. It all traces back to a sense of oneness - A I K Y A M 🌼

This is what we stand for. It is our wish for you to experience this harmony.
Let's make it happen, together.
