"In an extremely welcome move, Thai nationals applying for an e-tourist visa to India will be granted a 30-day visa fee exemption, starting on July 1 to December 31 this year.
The Indian government has announced the e-Tourist visa fee exemption for holders of ordinary Thai passports to promote tourism. This move will definitely give a boost to Inbound Tourism, which is the need of the hour. We at TAAI have been advocating for the same for a long time and are extremely delighted to see it being implemented. We urge that this should be applicable to many more countries."

"This is not giving us the right kind of platform when we are talking to the ministry, and more members should register themselves with the MoT. The issue with this is the criterion for staff where IATA-approved staff is not recognised. It needs to be tourism trained staff only, and this is very hard to find," he says.

*Indoreans plan short getaways as V-day coincides with weekend*

Travel Agents Association of India MP and CG chapter chairman, Hemendra Singh Jadon said, “There is a sudden jump in enquiries and bookings from clients for weekend trips extended until Monday. Travel plans for Pachmarhi, Udaipur, Jodhpur and Gujarat are in most demand. Looking at the trend, our association decided to come out and make an appeal to people to vote and then plan their travel.”
