We cannot begin to express the immense pleasure it has been to spend time with students from we have definitely learnt a lot from them during the course of our trips, tours, tea breaks and meetings. Being a panelist was the icing on the cake. Watching these young students navigate through complex urban problem and comeup with innovative sustainable solution for these problems was a learning experience to be said the least.

Marine Drive is a 3 km long beautiful road in southern Mumbai of Maharashtra. This is one of the most visited places in Mumbai city and also one of the top tourist places in Mumbai.

It is a C-shaped six-lane road along the coastline of Arabian Sea, forming a natural bay.
Marine Drive is also referred to as 'Queen's necklace', because the street lights make the road look like a string of pearls and create an illusion of a necklace, when viewed at night from any elevated point along the pathway of the drive.

Did you know???

Mumbai’s local train network today is actually a part of history. It is a part of what was the first railway network to be built, not just in India, but the whole of Asia. The infrastructure was built by the British and the first train on the continent ran between Thane and Bori Bunder stations, the latter that was rebuilt as Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, which still stands proud to this day. The momentous first train journey took place on the 16th of April, in 1853, along a 34 km route.
