We got an opportunity to attend a ‘Travel Massive’ Meet Up in Mumbai yesterday.

The Tourism Office of Spain in Mumbai graciously invited us to a captivating Spanish Wine & Cultural Evening. However, beyond the allure of Spanish culture, the event provided a remarkable opportunity to connect with a vibrant travel community comprising individuals from various facets of the industry. From travel curators to content creators, the gathering was a dynamic blend of enthusiasts.

The Tourism Office of Spain, in collaboration with Sula Wines, beautifully showcased diverse regions of Spanish wine, adding an enriching dimension to the evening. It was truly a memorable experience. Cheers to unforgettable moments!

Kenya - The Real Deal destination.

Kenya's stunning beaches might tempt relaxation, but the abundance of thrilling activities keeps visitors on the move. With diverse landscapes, from equatorial glaciers to wildlife-rich plains, and a mix of cultures, every moment in the country offers surprises.

Kenya truly stands out as a compelling destination, with considerable potential to capture the attention of Indian travellers and secure a spot on their bucket lists.

We got to experience the magical Kenya last week during the pre-tour of OTOAI (Outbound Tour Operators Association of India) Convention in Nairobi in association with OneAbove DMC, Sarova Hotels and Outbound Tour Operators Association of India (OTOAI).

In the land of Manali, where beauty unfolds,
Amidst storms and floods, let safety be our stronghold.
Stay safe, dear travelers, amidst nature's sway,
Embrace caution and keep troubles at bay.

Manali, a haven that bestows purpose and grace,
A destination that brings smiles to every face.
Through turbulent times, let unity prevail,
Shielding cherished moments, friendships never fail.

In the face of adversity, let unity shine,
Support one another, like a true lifeline.
Stay safe, Manali, may you endure and thrive,
With courage and resilience, we shall survive.

The Graceful Elegance of Sri Lanka's Leopards.

The population of leopards in Sri Lanka is estimated to be between 750 to 1,000 individuals. Sri Lanka is known for having one of the highest leopard densities in the world.

The best time to spot leopards in Sri Lanka is during the dry season, which typically spans from May to September. During this period, vegetation is less dense, making it easier to spot leopards as they move around in search of prey and water sources. Additionally, the dry season coincides with a lower volume of tourists, providing a more peaceful and less crowded safari experience. However, it's important to note that leopard sightings are never guaranteed, as they are elusive and unpredictable animals. Hiring an experienced safari guide and being patient during your visit to national parks like Yala or Wilpattu can increase your chances of encountering these magnificent creatures.

Posted • Party never stops in Colombo!

Sri Lanka is back on the tourism map and let us show you the whole new side of this destination. Explore the best nightlife in the capital city of Colombo. From beach parties to night bazaars and from discos to casinos (that are open round the clock), Colombo is a city that deserves a closer look, by day and certainly also by night.

Leading hotel brands got their own nightclubs & pubs (Cinnamon Grand Colombo, Cinnamon Lakeside, CASA Colombo, Hilton Hotel and many more). Moreover, Colombo, one of the world's most tourist-friendly cities, houses many standalone bars and pubs like Loft Lounge Bar, Barefoot Garden Cafe, Koha Surf Lounge, Ceysands Disco, Rodeo Club and many more. If you want to try your luck, head to one of the most popular casinos: Bally's Casino, Bellagio Casino, Casino Marina Colombo, Continental Club, Stardust Casino, the Ritz Club or MGM Colombo.

Wait no more if you like to party till dawn. Colombo can be a perfect weekend / short gateway as SriLankan Airlines fly to/from 9 Indian cities to Colombo - Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Cochin, Madurai, Thiruvananthapuram and Tiruchirappalli. This is the best time as everything is open and the prices are unmissable.

Ready for the sugar rush? Head to the Museum of Ice Cream in Singapore - an ice cream-themed wonderland that'll give you a sensory overload in the best way. Located at 100 Loewen Road, it’s the museum’s first international location outside of the United States. So what can visitors expect inside its outlandishly pink building covering 60,000 sq ft? You’ve got a cafe, bar, retail store and 14 unique interactive installations, such as the Marble Run, California Dreamin and Scream’s Diner areas – and of course, the Sprinkle Pool, the biggest one the museum’s created. And yes, what’s a visit to an ice cream museum without the frozen treat? Guests can enjoy unlimited servings of delicious flavours with a local twist, such as Pulut Hitam, Lemon Bliss Balls, Apple Pie Soft Serve, Lychee Bandung, and Taro Milk Tea.

The Sprinkle Pool is the museum's most attractive installation! It was inspired by the museum's founder and creative director, Maryellis Bunn who always dreamed of swimming in an ocean filled with sprinkles. You can find the Sprinkle Pool everywhere at MOIC pop-ups around the world but the one in Singapore is Asia's first! And did we mention the free, unlimited ice cream that comes with your ticket? This is one trip you wouldn’t want to miss!

Let’s admit it, we’re all suckers for a good view. Other than getting a bird’s eye view of your surroundings on the Singapore Flyer, Marina Bay Sands or one of the many sky-high restaurants in town, you’ll now also be able to climb on board SkyHelix Sentosa, Singapore’s highest open air-panoramic ride.

Needless to say, we were a little nervous when we looked up and saw dangling feet above us because it reminded us of Disneyland’s Tower of Terror. However, the absence of horrified screams was reassuring, so we braved on towards the ride.

Each ticket comes with a complimentary standard non-alcoholic beverage such as a Sjora Mango Peach, Lemonade slushie, or a canned drink like Coke.

Alternatively, you can also skip the drink and opt to redeem an exclusive SkyHelix Sentosa magnet souvenir instead.

Each ride lasts 12 minutes, including two minutes of ascent and descent and 10 minutes at the peak where the gondola will also slowly rotate.

Once we were strapped in and ready to go, the open-air gondola began to rise gently. And when we reached the top, we got to view Sentosa and the surrounding waterfront from a 360° angle.

As it was windy, scenic and peaceful all at the same time, the ride gave off a rooftop bar kinda vibe. Kick back, sip on the complimentary beverage and enjoy the breeze 79m above sea level.

Pro tip: The organisers have hinted that the best time to visit is during sunset, where you’ll be able to catch a stunning sight of the vistas of the surrounding Imbiah area.

Good news is, unlike roller coasters, phones will be allowed on board so prepare to go ham spamming pictures for the ‘gram. Pics or it didn’t happen, right?

Yala National Park is the most popular wildlife park and second largest in Sri Lanka. However, the park is not as crowded with safari vechicles anymore due to the perception created by global mainstream media about SriLankan economic crisis.

We opted for the early morning safari and encountered sloth bear, crocodiles, deer, monkeys, water buffaloes, monitor lizards, elephants and of course ‘lords of the jungle’ - leopards. In fact, Yala National Park’s leopard density is higher than anywhere else on Earth (2.5 every square mile).

If you are planning a trip to Sri Lanka, don’t miss out a safari experience in Yala. And to make the most of your trip, fly and experience the srilankan hospitality right from the time you board the flight from India.

And our next stop is Tissamaharama!

In Tissamaharama (usually shortened to Tissa), eyes are automatically drawn upwards and outwards. Upwards to the tip of its huge, snowy-white dagoba and outwards, beyond the town’s confines, to nearby wildlife reserves crawling with creatures large and small. With its pretty lakeside location in Southern Sri Lanka, Tissa is an ideal mellow base for the nearby Yala and Bundala National Parks.

We are staying at a resort which is surrounded by vast paddy fields and a plethora of natural beauty.

We walked through the paddy fields and experienced a sweet delicacy made by our chef in a live kitchen concept for us in the lawn area. The day ended with a relaxed star-gazing with some scrumptious Sri Lankan cuisine.

'Ayobowan', says the baby turtle waving at the camera!
While the global mainstream media is warning tourists against travelling to Sri Lanka, we are in Sri Lanka with a team of travel content creators who are surprised to see the real image of this country - life is totally normal and locals are encouraging tourism as a steady influx of tourists would undoubtedly help aid the recovery of the disaster-hit country.

Today, we headed to Galle from Colombo via road and visited one of the 24 Turtle Hatcheries in the Balapitiya region. Though few of the hatcheries are closed due to the unprecedented times, we recommend you to connect with your travel consultant about the updates and get your ground transport organised with them. We got to learn about why turtles are important to our eco-system and and even got to hold few of the baby turtles at this sanctuary that works on increasing the rate of survival of baby turtles on the island.
