I will discuss about 2 symbols used extensively in Turkey and it's neighbourhood to ward off evil eye or NAZAR :

1) Hamza OR The Hand of Fatima

Known as “Fatma Ana Eli” in Turkey, the Hamsa in Arabic and the Hand of Fatima in English, the imagery of a hand with an eye in the palm has been used as a talismanic symbol throughout the Middle East. The symbol is believed to protect against the evil eye and encourage goodness, abundance, fertility, luck and good health. This signature hand imagery can be found in ceramic form or in the Iznik Çini style of Turkish porcelain but also as necklace charms and earrings made out of filigree. In Turkish “Telkari,” this form of intricate metalwork in which thin threads of silver or gold are arranged in artistic motifs is a style of jewelry-making traditional in Turkey.

Turkish Evil Eye:
Attempts to ward off the curse of the evil eye have resulted in a number of talismans in many cultures. As a class, they are called "apotropaic" (Greek for "prophylactic" or "protective", literally: "turns away") talismans, meaning that they turn away or turn back harm.
Disks or balls, consisting of concentric blue and white circles (usually, from inside to outside, dark blue, light blue, white, and dark blue) representing an evil eye are common apotropaic talismans in West Asia, found on the prows of Mediterranean boats and elsewhere; in some forms of the folklore, the staring eyes are supposed to bend the malicious gaze back to the sorcerer.
Known as nazar (Turkish: nazar boncuğu or nazarlık), this talisman is most frequently seen in Turkey, found in or on houses and vehicles or worn as beads.
These are now precedent In India too. I use them discreetly in my Vastu rectification procedures.. Surprisingly they give very good result.

Preferably, keep the bamboo plant in the east corner. You can keep the bamboo plant in the south-east zone, if you want to attract wealth and fortune. It is believed that you can also get rid of financial hassles and achieve prosperity, if you keep it in this corner.

Here is an easy way to include these lucky elements in the bamboo container:

Element Procedure :
Earth :Add some pebbles in the pot.
Metal :Add some coins in the pot.
Wood ;The stem symbolises the wood element.
Water Add some water in the pot.
Fire :Tie the plant with a red-coloured ribbon/band.

According to Feng Shui, the hollow structure of the plant helps in the movement of Chi energy. It is believed that the bamboo plant helps in the movement of positive energy, in turn, generating more abundance and prosperity. Apart from this, the pipe-like structure of the plant also signifies the wisdom of letting the energy flow from within to the outside world, thus, calming your mind and soul...

In Vastu there is great significance of Tulsi or basil plant. We see the Tulsi plant in most of the houses. It is considered very auspicious from Vastu's point of view. Vastu doshas are greatly eliminated by planting Tulsi in the house. It is has been described in the scriptures as the form of Lakshmi, that is, where there is Tulsi plant, there is Laxmi or fortune. It is also an important medicinal plant. Planting Tulsi in the house destroys negative energy and increases positive energy. It emits lot of oxygen. Tulsi must be placed in North East of the house.

वास्तुशास्त्रानुसार पूर्व दिशेला प्राणा स्वरूपाचे अग्नीतत्व आहे जे आरोग्याशी संबंधित आहे ,आग्नेय दिशेला ज्वाला स्वरूपाचे अग्नीतत्व आहे या अग्नीला संतुलित केल्यास लाभ व ईछापूर्ती होते मात्र हाच अग्नी अतिबल झाल्यास आयुष्याची राख रांगोळी करताना दिसतो .दक्षिण दिशेला पृथ्वी तत्व आहे मात्र हे पृथ्वीतत्व यमदेवांच्या छायेखाली असल्यामुळे स्मशान स्वरूपाचे असते हे स्मशान विसर्जित होऊन दीर्घायुष्य मिळण्यासाठी दक्षिण दिशा जड करावी लागते. नैऋत्य दिशा हि पितृ स्वरूप नैऋती दैत्याच्या अधिपत्याखाली असलेली पृथ्वीतत्वाची कृषी स्वरुपाची दिशा आहे .बिजांकन प्रजनन आणि परिपोषण हा या दिशेचा गुणधर्म आहे .मानवी जीवनात घडणाऱ्या सर्व शुभ अशुभ घटनांचे मूळ हे नैऋत्य दिशेला असते यासाठी यादिशेला अतीजडत्वं करून शुभ घटनांची मांदियाळी निर्माण करता येते .पश्चिम दिशा हि वायुतत्वाची वादळ स्वरुपाची दिशा आहे .हे वादळ वैवाहिक व व्यावसायिक जीवनात कलह निर्माण करते यासाठी पश्चिम प्रभाग जड करून वादळ शमवावे लागते ,वायव्य दिशा हि प्राणवायू स्वरुपाची वायुतत्वाची दिशा. या प्राणवायुला संतुलित करून वास्तूला चैतन्य देता येते .उत्तर दिशा हि जलतत्वाची कुबेराच्या अधिपत्याखाली असणारी दिशा आहे ,उत्तर दिशा धन संपत्ती देणारी दिशा त्यामुळे याठिकाणी हलकेपणामुळे जलतत्वाचा प्रभाव वाढवून श्रीमंती प्राप्त करता येते .ईशान्य दिशा ईश म्हणजे भगवान शिवाच्या अधिपत्याची ईश्वरी स्पंदनाची जलतत्वाची दिशा ,हि दिशा सर्वात हलकी दिशा आहे या दिशेला जलतत्व व मंदिर स्थापना करून
