Ralam: This pleasing glacier is situated in Tehsil Munsiyari of Pithoragarh district. In the Kumaon region, Ralam Glacier is found near Ralam Dhura at Ralam Khal and featuring an elevation of 2290 m. Upper Ralam and Lower Ralam these are two divided part of Ralam Glacier. From Munsiyari this trek is about 50 km. From Munsiyari some of the important destinations that you will stop over at are Panton, Sapa Odiyar and Lilam during the trek to Ralam Glacier. The base for the trek is Munsiyari. It is lies at the base of the great Himalayan wall.
Last week of April to Last week of June and first week of September to first week of November is the good time to visit here. Damfu Bugyal and Ralam Glacier, ralam and paton village are the main attraction of this trek. One of the attractive glacier is Kalabaland in this valley. The beginning point of the trek is Munsiyari and it is an easy point of access. The glacier route is about 15km from Ralam village. Sutela, Yangchar and Kalabaland glacier are these glaciers meet in ralam glacier they are adding to this beautiful glacier.
