बाड़ में बहा हाथी
उत्तराखंड में आई इस बाड़ के बाद कुछ दिल को झकझोर देने वाले वीडियो सामने आए है।
ये वीडियो सोशल मीडिया पर खूब वायरल हो रहा है, जिसमे एक वयस्क हाथी नदी की चपेट में आकर नदी में बहता हुआ नजर आ रहा है,
इससे पहले 2 और वीडियो भी सामने आए जहां एक वीडियो में हाथी नदी के बीचों बीच एक टापू पर फसा नजर आ रहा है तो दूसरे में वो नदी के बहाव के विपरीत धाराओं से लड़ता नजर आ रहा है।
इस त्रासदी ने जितना ही नुकसान मानव जीवन पर करा है उससे कही ज्यादा वन्य जीव जंतुओं पर करा है।
वीडियो कॉर्बेट नेशनल पार्क का है या गौला बैराज का ये अभी स्पष्ट नहीं है, पर जानकारों का मानना है की ये वीडियो कोसी नदी कॉर्बेट नेशनल पार्क का है।

Rajaji National Park: राजाजी पार्क में 45 साल बाद दिखा ये दुर्लभ वन्य जीव, नाइट विजन कैमरे में हुआ कैद:

राजाजी नेशनल पार्क में 45 साल बाद दुर्लभ इंडियन वुल्फ दिखाई दिया। राजाजी में लगे नाइट विजन कैमरे (Night Vision Camera) में वुल्फ की तस्वीर कैद हुई है जिसके बाद पार्क प्रशासन ने अन्य वुल्फ की भी तलाश शुरू कर दी है।

राजाजी पार्क में 45 साल बाद दिखा ये दुर्लभ वन्य जीव, नाइट विजन कैमरे में हुआ कैद।

राजाजी राष्ट्रीय उद्यान (Rajaji National Park) में करीब 45 साल बाद इंडियन वुल्फ (Indian Wolf) को देखा गया। राजाजी में लगे नाइट विजन कैमरे (Night Vision Camera) में वुल्फ की तस्वीर कैद हुई है, जिसके बाद पार्क प्रशासन ने अन्य वुल्फ की भी तलाश शुरू कर दी है।

मुख्य वन्यजीव प्रतिपालक जेएस सुहाग ने बताया कि करीब 50 साल पहले सहारनपुर, हरिद्वार और बिजनौर के जंगलों में इंडियन वुल्फ बहुतायत में पाए जाते थे। इसके बाद इनकी संख्या घटने लगी। बीते 45 साल में इन्हें यहां नहीं देखा गया था। हालांकि घने जंगलों में छिपकर रहने वाले यह जीव आसानी से नजर नहीं आते।

राजाजी पार्क में वन्यजीवों की गतिविधियों पर नजर रखने के लिए बड़ी संख्या में कैमरे लगाए जा रहे हैं। इनमें तीन नाइट विजन वाले कैमरे भी शामिल हैं। ऐसे में इंडियन वुल्फ की तस्वीर कैमरे में कैद होना जैव विविधता के लिहाज से अच्छा संकेत है। उन्होंने बताया कि क्षेत्र में मादा वुल्फ को भी तलाशा जा रहा है।

इंडियन वुल्फ को हिंदी में भारतीय भेड़िया कहते हैं। यह आमतौर पर भारत के मैदानी इलाकों और पश्चिमी एशिया में पाए जाते हैं। यह हिमालयी भेड़िये और अरब भेड़िये के बीच की प्रजाति है। आमतौर पर यह टोलियों में विचरण करते हैं। यह अन्य भेड़ियों की तुलना में कम ऊंची आवाज में रंभाता है।

Jim Corbett - Biography
The fable of Edward Jim Corbett is still persisting in the minds and hearts of the people of Garhwal and Kumaon. People all over the world know Jim Corbett from his fabulous writings as a famous hunter who later became the adversary of many notorious man-eaters. There are four biographies on him and three films on his life that displays the lucid accounts of his exploits that he has given in his books.

Edward James Corbett was born 25th July 1875 of English ancestry in Nainital districts of Uttarakhand. He grew up spending much of his childhood exploring the wilderness that exists around. Jim Corbett lived his life amidst dense jungle and developed a deep knowledge of the way. Sir Jim Corbett spent his major part of his life at Gurney House (located in Nainital) with his large family, his mother Mary Jane Corbett and his sister Margaret Winfred Corbett, fondly called Maggie. His father, who was postmaster in Nainital died when Jim Corbett was four. The whole responsibility fell to Corbett's mother to raise and educate 12 children on a widow's meager pension. Soon after an early age Jim Corbett has to face with the responsibility of supporting his family of six members so he took up a job with the railways.

Over the years he became a good hunter as well as wonderful naturalist. He was blessed with the excellent observation, fleet- footed and great stamina. He was so intelligent and active that he could read the signs of the forest and movement of wildlife as put all senses on (sight, hearing and smelling) while moving in the forests. He has a record of killing 19 tigers and 14 leopards. He was also a pioneer conservationist and played a key role in the establishment of present Jim Corbett National Park. He led a confirmed bachelor life and remained an active member of many wildlife preservation organizations and helped in conserving these natural resources.

A full grown male tiger was found limping in Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve today. He could not walk due to paraplegia in hind limbs. He's tranquillised and now being shifted to Gorewada Rescue Centre in Nagpur for treatment.

देश के प्रख्यात पर्यावरणविद सुंदरलाल बहुगुणा भी कोरोना वायरस से संक्रमित हो गए। उन्हें एम्स ऋषिकेश में भर्ती कराया गया है।

देश के प्रख्यात पर्यावरणविद सुंदरलाल बहुगुणा भी कोरोना वायरस से संक्रमित हो गए। उन्हें एम्स ऋषिकेश में भर्ती कराया गया है। करीब 94 वर्षीय बहुगुणा को बुखार व खांसी की शिकायत है। फिलहाल सांस लेने में उन्हें कोई परेशानी नहीं हो रही है। एम्स के जनसंपर्क अधिकारी हरीश मोहन थपलियाल ने बताया कि पर्यावरणविद सुंदरलाल बहुगुणा को शनिवार दोपहर करीब 12:30 बजे एम्स ऋषिकेश लाया गया था। उनकी कोविड रिपोर्ट पॉजिटिव है।
उन्होंने बताया कि पिछले एक सप्ताह से सुंदरलाल बहुगुणा को बुखार व खांसी की शिकायत थी। उन्हें कोविड वार्ड में भर्ती किया गया है। उन्होंने बताया कि सुंदरलाल बहुगुणा को अभी सांस लेने में कोई परेशानी नहीं आ रही है। उनकी स्थिति सामान्य है और उनकी अन्य स्वास्थ्य जांच भी की जा रही है।

बहुगुणा के बारे में
चिपको आंदोलन के प्रणेता सुंदरलाल बहुगुणा का जन्म नौ जनवरी सन 1927 को देवभूमि उत्तराखंड के मरोडा नामक स्थान पर हुआ। प्राथमिक शिक्षा के बाद वे लाहौर चले गए और वहीं से बीए किया। सन 1949 में मीराबेन व ठक्कर बाप्पा के सम्पर्क में आने के बाद ये दलित वर्ग के विद्यार्थियों के उत्थान के लिए प्रयासरत हो गए। उनके लिए टिहरी में ठक्कर बाप्पा होस्टल की स्थापना भी की। दलितों को मंदिर प्रवेश का अधिकार दिलाने के लिए उन्होंने आन्दोलन छेड़ दिया।
अपनी पत्नी श्रीमती विमला नौटियाल के सहयोग से इन्होंने सिलयारा में ही ‘पर्वतीय नवजीवन मण्डल’ की स्थापना भी की। सन 1971 में शराब की दुकानों को खोलने से रोकने के लिए सुंदरलाल बहुगुणा ने सोलह दिन तक अनशन किया। चिपको आन्दोलन के कारण वे विश्वभर में वृक्षमित्र के नाम से प्रसिद्ध हो गए। उत्तराखंड में बड़े बांधों के विरोध में उन्होंने काफी समय तक आंदोलन भी किया। सुन्दरलाल बहुगुणा के अनुसार पेड़ों को काटने की अपेक्षा उन्हें लगाना अति महत्वपूर्ण है। बहुगुणा के कार्यों से प्रभावित होकर अमेरिका की फ्रेंड ऑफ नेचर नामक संस्था ने 1980 में उन्हें पुरस्कृत भी किया। इसके अलावा उन्हें कई सारे पुरस्कारों से सम्मानित किया गया। पर्यावरण को स्थाई सम्पति माननेवाला यह महापुरुष आज ‘पर्यावरण गाँधी’ बन गया है।

A dead female tiger carcass was found under the large canal of Rajiv Project, located on the road from village Ambai to Kharakpur, under the Varasivani project enclosure, from forest chamber number 543, the tiger's body is said to have flowed from Chikhala here. , Prima facie it is known that the tiger has died due to eating something but however, it's being investigated by the dog squad with the team of Kanha Tiger Reserve including the officer of NTCA.

Probably in one of the most shocking incidents, a four-year-old pregnant tigress with four fetuses in her womb was brutally killed by unidentified poachers in the Mukutban forest range on Sunday. The matter was kept under wraps by the forest department for more than 24 hours for reasons best known to them. This is the 17th tiger death in Maharashtra in a little over three months. At least 11 of these deaths are due to poaching or under mysterious circumstances not proved yet. This is the second tigress poached in Pandharkawda division in one month. A tigress died in a wire snare on March 23 in Ghonsa in Maregaon range but forest officials are still clueless.

पेंच नेशनल पार्क में नर बाघ का मिला शव , अपराधियो की तलाश जारी

सिवनी, 23 अप्रैल। मध्यप्रदेश के सिवनी जिले के पेंच नेशनल पार्क के घाटकोहका बफर परिक्षेत्र की बीट टिकाडी अंतर्गत शुक्रवार की दोपहर को एक नर बाघ का शव मिला है। जिसका पोस्टमार्टम उपरांत शव दाह किया गया है।

उपसंचालक पेंच टाईगर रिजर्व एम.बी.सिरसैया ने शुक्रवार की शाम को जानकारी दी कि शुक्रवार 23 अप्रैल को पेंच टाइगर रिजर्व सिवनी अंतर्गत घाटकोहका बफर परिक्षेत्र में बीट टिकाडी के कक्ष क्रमांक 378 में गस्ती दल को गस्ती के दौरान एक नर बाघ मृत अवस्था मे मिला, जिसकी सूचना तत्काल वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों को दी गई। सूचना प्राप्त होने पर मुख्य वन संरक्षक एवम क्षेत्र संचालक पेंच टाइगर रिजर्व विक्रम सिंह परिहार, अधीक्षक आशीष कुमार पांडेय, वन्य प्राणी चिकित्सक डाॅ. अखिलेश मिश्रा , परिक्षेत्र अधिकारी विवेक नाग सहित स्टाफ मौके पर पहुंचा। एन.टी.सी.ए. प्रतिनिधि के रूप में एस. के. जौहरी उपवनमण्डल अधिकारी कुरई सामान्य भी मौके पर पहुंचे।

आगे बताया गया कि वन्य प्राणी चिकित्सक द्वारा शव परीक्षण करने पर मृत बाघ के गले मे जी आई तार लिपटा हुआ मिला इससे बाघ को तार, फंदा लगाकर मारा जाना प्राथमिक दृष्टि में प्रतीत होता है। बाघ के शरीर के समस्त अव्यव जैसे बाल, नाखून, दांत आदि सुरक्षित अवस्था मे मिले हैं। वन्यप्राणी चिकित्सक द्वारा शव परीक्षण उपरांत एन.टी.सी.ए. की समस्त एस.ओ.पी. का पालन करते हुए अधिकारियों की उपस्थिति में मृत बाघ का शव दाह किया गया। डॉग स्क्वाड की सहायता से पूरे क्षेत्र की जांच करवाई गई है, साथ ही अमला अपराधियो की तलाश कर रहा हैं।
