Out of the five groups of Jain rock carvings mounted on the Gwalior Fort hill, these are the most visited frequently. All 24 Tirthankaras are shown in the sculpture. Chawking is a significant custom in the Bandna festival. The woman, who is fasting, creates and prepares the Chawk, which starts at the entry point.
