।। महाभारतकालीन अम्बरनाथशिव मंदिर ।।

मुम्बई के निकट एक ऐसा मंदिर है, जिसके बारे में मान्यता है, की यह मंदिर द्वापरकाल में पांडवो ने बनाया था, और वह भी मात्र एक ही रात में ।। स्थानीय लोगो का तो यहां तक कहना है, की यह मंदिर महाभारत काल मे ही नही , रामायणकाल में भी विद्यमान था, क्यो की इस मंदिर में एक गुफा है, कहते है, उसका रास्ता सीधे पंचवटी तक जाता है ।।द्वापरकाल में जब धर्म की हानि हुई, और यह मंदिर टूटे, तब पांडवो ने एक ही रात में इस मंदिर का पुनः जीर्णोद्धार कर दिया ।। बताया जाता है कि अज्ञातवास के दौरान पांडव कुछ वर्ष अंबरनाथ में बिताए थे, तब उन्होंने विशाल पत्थरों से एक ही रात में इस मंदिर का निर्माण किया था। फिर कौरवों द्वारा लगातार पीछे किए जाने के भय से यह स्थान छोड़कर चले गए। जिससे मंदिर का कार्य पूरा नहीं हो सका। सालों से मौसम की मार झेल रहा यह मंदिर आज भी खड़ा है।। और पांडवो के बाद आज से लगभग 1000 वर्ष पहले 1060 ईं में राजा मांबाणि ने इस मंदिर का पुनः जीर्णोद्धार करवाया ।।

इस मंदिर पर हुई कारीगरी को तो देखिए, इस मंदिर ओर यहां की मूर्तियों की सुंदरता, और जिस तरह से पत्थरो को सफाई से काटा गया है, कोई भी व्यक्ति इस कला को देकर केवल बारम्बार हैरान ही हो सकता है ।। इस मंदिर की प्रशंसा के लिए भी शब्दो का अकाल पड़ गया है ।। इस मंदिर को देखते रहे , निहारते रहे, या इस मंदिर प्रशंसा करें...... आदमी इसी हैरानी में बस अवाक रह जाता है ।।

इस मंदिर के बारे में खास मान्यता यह भी है, की जिन लोगो का विवाह नही होता , वे लोग विशेष रूप से इस मंदिर में जाकर अपने विवाह की प्रार्थनाएं भगवान भोलेनाथ से करते है ।।

.. ----- Some special secrets of Nalanda University -----।।

Nalanda University - The greatest university in the history ever known.

Even if India is at 145th in the list of 191 countries in terms of education, but once here India used to be a source of knowledge for the world. Today only one teacher is available to hundreds of students. Thousands of years ago in the glory of this university it included more than 10,000 students and 2,000 teachers i.e. a teacher on only 5 students.. . Nalanda had eight separate premises and 10 temples, plus several other meditation halls and classrooms. Here a library was situated in a 9-storey building, with millions of books including 90 million manuscripts. Not only India but also students from Korea, Japan, China, Tibet, Indonesia, Iran, Greece, Mongolia used to come to study. And the most surprising thing is that during those times many subjects were taught here including literature, astrology, psychology, law, astronomy, science, warfare, history, maths, architects, linguistics, economics, medicine.

The entire complex was surrounded by a huge wall with a main gate for entry. There was a queue of monasteries from north to south. Central school had seven large rooms and other than three hundred other rooms. These used to be lectures. Monasteries were of more than one floor, each monastery had a well built in the courtyard. In addition to eight huge buildings, ten temples, several prayer rooms and study rooms, the premises also had beautiful gardens and lakes. This university also had hostel facility for students studying from abroad.
The entrance exam in the university was so difficult that only the incredibly talented students could get admission. Like today's universities, students had their own association, they used to arrange and elect it themselves. Students had no financial concern. Education, food, clothing medicine and treatment were all free for them. The university was donated two hundred villages from the state, which costed the income and grains.

After existing for almost 800 years, this university was destroyed.

Hadi Rani the queen of Rajasthan, India!

Her story is highly inspirational. She proved that one does not need to go to the battlefield to prove their patriotism and love towards their motherland.

She was the daughter of Hada chauhan rajput, married to Chundawat chieftain of Salumbar, Mewar, Rajasthan. The day after the wedding, Maharana raj singh (1653–1680) called her husband to join the war against Aurangzeb who was trying to invade his land.

Primarily Chundawat chieftain was hesitant to go for war as he got married just a day before. He wanted to spend his time with his loving wife but here comes the gripping part of the story.

The newly wed Rani encouraged him to go to the battle as it was his duty to protect motherland from invaders. He agreed with her.

On the way to the battlefield, he ordered one of his servants to go to Rani and asks for souvenir of her so that he could take it to the battlefield with him.

She was surprised by his behaviour. She thought of herself as a obstacle for her husband which is stopping him from performing his duty towards Mewar.

She was an extraordinary woman. She cut off her head and asked servent put it on a plate and present it to her husband as memento.

The chieftain was devastated after receiving this. He was proud of her.He didn't take it as a weakness instead he took it as strength for him.

He tied his wife head around his neck and went to the battlefield proudly. There he fought ferociously and made Aurangzeb's forces to flee from his area cowardly.

After victory, he found no reason to be alive .He kneeled down on his knees and cut his neck himself. He lost the desire to live.

This was the story of Hadi Rani.She set an example of how far a person could go in the love of his motherland.

She was a very brave woman indeed. Her story is inspirational. We Indians must be proud of her.
