The trip to Nagaland was the most memorable for me as I shared it with My best friend Yasha a trip which we were planning for more than a decade. She said Yes and WTH made it happened.

Here are some un erasable memories of Nagaland. Kohima the capital city of Nagaland I never thought this city to be such a huge. Beautiful landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and vibrant street market, we visited some popular tourist attractions Kohima War Cemetery, the Kohima Cathedral where we had the drone view of the city.
Jakhama Village a small town surrounded by hills and forest, beautiful paddy fields ancient ruins, scenic beauty, culture, traditions, and lovely people. Jakhama was once known for their headhunter however the city was never ruled by any invaders as their people fought hard to protect their mother land. Khonoma which is India’s first Green village and was also our home for two days. Pulie Badze Wildlife Sanctuary home to several species of flora and fauna we heard of tigers though we didn’t encounter any. It was the most beautiful walk I had of my life the only sounds in the sanctuary were of birds, breeze and the trees.

And at last, the special mentioned over 25 Trible, 40 Bands and more than 2000 participants Unites together for one big festival - The HORNBILL Festival. To all the music lover if you have not seen this your music journey is not even half filled. This festival will teach how to celebrate and preserve the culture and tradition. Showcasing unique culture and traditions, handicrafts, textiles, and traditional Naga art. This place is so safe and untouched.

Another tick of my bucket list the Hornbill festival, a four days journey went in a flash filled with Music, dance, traditions, storytelling, natural beauties , Churches, and tons and tons love and care from Kevi Bhaiya, Puno Bhaiya and his team. Thank you for such a splendid experience Walk to Himalayas.
