Thachru📍Enroute Shrikhand Mahadev Kailash Yatra

Thachru is a base camp where tree line ends and herbs and shrubs remain for the next patch of the trek. The campsite Thachru is situated at an elevation of 11,300 feet

Shrikhand Mahadev Kailash Yatra is one of the toughest pilgrimage trek in India. There are two things which make this trek a popular one, Lord Shiva and the challenging and thrilling trek to its peak.

The Shrikhand Mahadev peak is situated at an altitude of 18,500 feet above the sea level and offers breathtaking views of valleys and other peaks. This holy destination is situated in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh.

From Jaon village an actual journey begins, and after 3 km of Trek reaches Singhaad, the first Base camp.
After that there is a approximately 12 km straight uphill stretch to Thaachru, also known as 'Dandi-Dhaar' (roughly translating to Stick-Height), because of the stretch being a very steep slope with an elevation angle of approximately 70 degrees. One gets to see lush green Deodar trees & Streams while enrouting towards Thaachru and after the long trek of 15 km, there's a recommended halt, where one can opt to stay in tents. Thaachru is another base camp, surrounded by lush green Deodar trees, Snow covered Peaks and River streams

Hatu Peak
Elevation - 3400 m above sea level.
Hatu Peak is also known as Hatu Temple. It is one of the most famous temple of MAA Kali🔱 in the Himalayan region . Surrounded by majestic mountain the Hatu Peak is located in Shimla District of Himachal Pradesh India. The spectacular view of the surrounding Himalayan ranges from the Hatu Peak attracts every one to visit once in a life time. The Hatu Peak is the highest peak in the entire Shimla district, located in Narkanda. The Peak is surrounded by dense forest of conifers, oaks and maples. It is approximately 72 km away from Shimla on the National Highway 05 towards Narkanda. An actual way started after reaching at Narkanda. You must go for Hatu Peak Trek if you are an adventure enthusiastic.
