8th Shawwal- A day of deep grief and sorrow

On 8 Shawwal, 1344 A.H. (April 21, 1926), the evil hands of Abdul Aziz Aal S'aud, founder of Saudi dynasty, dared to attack and demolish one of the holiest Islamic sites in the world, the sacred shrines of Imam Hassan Mujtaba (AS), Imam Ali Zaynul Abideen (AS), Imam Muhammad al-Baqir (AS), and Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq (AS).

Do you know why Abal Fadel Al-Abbas was called (سبع القنطرة) The Bridge Beast?

When he was 14years old the fitnah of the khawarij happened where they murdered Imam Ali's friend Abdallah Ibn Khabab and his wife taking out her unborn baby from the womb and beheading it on her body
Imam Ali(as) was very upset upon hearing this that he called out
Only me and my sons will take vengeance for this
So they went to find them and it seemed that these murderous Khawarij had taken refuge in a barrack with 3 gates and a bridge
So Imam Ali(as) took the main gate and told imam Hassan to take the west gate and Imam Hussein to take the east one
As they were heading there Imam Ali heard someone behind him
It was Al-Abbas
He asked him: my son what are you doing here
He replied: who did u send out O'Ameerul Mu'mineen?
The Imam said: I sent your brothers
Al-Abbas said: you assigned gates for them but where is my gate
The Imam said: you are still young my son
Al-Abbas replied: O' Ameerul Mu'mineen did you not fight for The Prophet of Allah when you were my age
Imam Ali(as) said: but there is only that small bridge left all the gates are taken
Al-Abbas replied: It is mine and I am for it
At this point Imam Ali(as) broke the main gate and roared like a lion making the khawarij run in fear to the east gate where Imam Hussein called out
"Where are you running to when I am the son of Ameerul Mu'mineen?"
So they ran to the west gate and Imam Hassan called out
"Where to when I am the son of the leader of the resplendent and pure"
So the Khawarij said we must go to the bridge otherwise Ali and his sons will destroy us
They get to the bridge and find a child sitting with a sword in his hand he looks at them and says
"I am the son of the red death"
When Imam Ali catches up he finds Al-Abbas(as) sitting on the bridge surrounded by all the khawarijs' heads
So The Imam(as) kisses him on his forehead
