Last Tuesday we had a live tour of an amazing 700-year-old ceramic factory in Natanz, Iran. On this tour, we listened to the interesting stories by Reza Ebadi, the owner of the factory; he explained to us thoroughly how these lovely ceramic objects are made and also how this business family has endured for hundreds of years. 🙂🙂
Many enthusiastic visitors from around the world joined us on this tour and we hereby would like to thank them and also our dear tour guides who hosted the tour.

Iran: A popular destination for foodies

Last Thursday we had a special tour for food lovers. Cooking has always been popular among people, whether those who like to cook for themselves or those who are waiting for a prepared meal!
Ms. Badiee, an experienced tour guide who is also an expert in cooking, made us a variety of Iranian dishes ranging from appetizers to desserts.

The tough 2020 has already given us noteworthy experiences of how we had taken simple things in life for granted; things such as embracing and kissing our dear ones, getting together with our friends, and visiting our grandparents. However, there are still things to be thankful for, and health is above all! So, let’s take a moment to practice some gratitude and brighten our mood for everything we have in life.

Happy Earth Day 2020

April 22 is celebrated as the Earth Day around the world to support environmental protection. Our Mother Earth has been through many catastrophic incidents for years: global warming, industrial emission, bushfire, marine pollution, etc. But this year, the Coronavirus pandemic has led to a game-changing shift in the environment.
According to the reports, there has been less rumbling on the surface and less noise pollution in cities, the air is strikingly clean and the oceans are quieter now! It seems like this year we are going to truly celebrate the "Earth Day"!
We definitely cannot shut down economic activities forever, but maybe on the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, it's now time to think about more responsible ways to live on this planet.

Greetings to all our friends and business partners,

March 20th is the beginning of the Persian New Year (Nowruz). We all begin this year with the fear of spreading Covid-19 around the World and Iran is among the centers of the outbreak.
Fortunately, Iran Doostan Tours Co. was the first Iranian tour operator that adopted a fully fleshed out remote infrastructure for its employees to work from home in order to care for their health and prevent the transmission of the virus.
We are all aware of the fact that not only people but also businesses have been greatly affected by the epidemic; especially tourist companies around the world. Nearly all of our tours have been canceled until the end of April and we have been negotiating with our service providers, mainly the hotels, not to receive cancellation fees. Provided that the virus is controlled, we would be welcoming our dear guests by the beginning of May. Until that time, we take the situation as an opportunity for our organization to train our personnel through online sessions. We would welcome your suggestions regarding this training if you would like to share your experiences with us.
Meanwhile, with the coming of the Iranian New Year, I wish you and your family to be safe and healthy, and that the outbreak of the virus would have the lowest impact in your country. My colleagues are pleasantly ready to assist you with any requests. The 23rd anniversary of Iran National Exports Day was celebrated in Tehran on December 2 and Iran Doostan Tours Co. was selected as the top exporter for the second time in the past 3 years.

Iran Doostan Tours Co. is the first Iranian tour operator that won the national award as the outstanding Iranian exporter in Iran.

The Exemplary Exporter ceremony in 2019 was held at Iran International Conference Centre, Tehran and hosted by Es'haq Jahangiri, Iranian First Vice President and Reza Rahmani, Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade. At this ceremony, ITPO (Iran Trade Promotion Organization) annually celebrates the National Day of Exports and introduces the winners tried to raise the competitive capability of Iran in the non-oil export section such as developing public export culture, encouraging exporters and economic activists and agencies.

Iran Doostan Tours Co. (IDT) received the national award as the outstanding Iranian exporter for the second time in 2019. IDT founded in 1990 in the tourism and travel industry of Iran and has received the national award of the best Iranian exporter in tourism services in the years 2004, 2008, 2009, 2012, 2013 and 2015.
