Summer is almost over but the memory of lovely places visited with many nice people will live forever.

I was in the valley Elliðaárdalur around 8:30pm on Thursday, November 9th waiting with my Canon camera for runners to cross the finish line in a race called the Powerade Winter Run that I arranged with some friends. The northern lights were crossing the sky like a river they so often do when suddenly they started this wild dance. It only lasted for a few minutes but I managed to get it on my camera.

Hesteyri in Jökulfirðir in the northwest is probably one of the best hike/run places in Iceland. I was there with my daughter and her running friends.
