Amici, ci siamo! 🤩

After three intense months of selecting materials, coordinating with suppliers, renovating, dealing with unexpected challenges, and maintaining high enthusiasm, we are thrilled to announce the official opening date of Trulli di Bacco.

🥁🥁🥁 (drum roll)... We are opening the doors of our guesthouse on June 15th! 🎉

Where is Trulli di Bacco ? 🧐

We really wanted to find the perfect spot for our place, and it had to be in the Itria Valley. Even though people said it was too expensive and hard to find what we wanted, we didn’t give up our researches. 🔍

Why did we love the Itria Valley so much? It’s a popular place and maybe a tourist favorite - which means it’s not only safe but has everything you could need. Plus, there’s something about the vibe here that’s just magical. 🌟

We fell in love with the small town of Locorotondo. 💞 It’s such a beautiful place, as charming in the winter as it is in the summer. Yet, we craved the tranquility of the countryside. And then we found it: an old vineyard, surrounded by nothing but vines and olive trees. 🍇🌳

This spot is perfectly placed to explore Locorotondo, Alberobello, Ostuni, Monopoli, and Polignano a Mare. Quick trips to beauty, no matter the direction! 🚗💨

We’re really happy we found this special place in an area we love so much. When we first visited the Itria Valley two years ago, we knew right away it was the place for us. It was meant to be! ✨

In Italian, Trulli di Bacco means Trulli of Bacchus, the god of wine 🍷

Every detail of the logo has been carefully considered:

The 3 Trullis are a tribute to our name, Trulli di Bacco, and a nod to the iconic trullis on our roof. 🏡

The triangles reflect our connection to the Itria Valley, and evoke grape bunches. 🍇

The shining sun above the central trullo represents the radiant energy and warmth of our location. 🌞

Our slogan 'Experience Puglia' goes beyond the traditional Bed & Breakfast; it captures the spirit of our commitment to offer our guests a complete immersion into Apulian life. We'll offer activities to allow you to experience the true essence of Puglia. 🤌🏼🇮🇹

Ciao a tutti 👋🏼 Nous c’est Julien et Maurine, et voici notre histoire :

Il y a deux ans, Maurine a partagé à Julien son rêve de vivre en Italie 🇮🇹, plus précisément dans la charmante région des Pouilles… et visiblement ça ne l’a pas fait fuir! 😅 En septembre 2022, nous avons entrepris un voyage pour que Julien puisse découvrir cette région magique. Résultat ? Coup de foudre instantané ! 😍 Bien que nous ayons visité quelques maisons à l'époque, aucune d'entre elles n'avait vraiment suscité notre enthousiasme. Ensuite, la vie a repris son cours, entre métro, boulot, et dodo.

Cependant, le destin avait prévu quelque chose d'extraordinaire pour nous. ✨ Durant l'été 2023, le beau-père de Maurine a fait l'acquisition d'une maison là-bas, nous offrant ainsi un pied-à-terre et nous permettant de passer plus de temps dans ce coin de paradis. En parallèle, la vie professionnelle de Maurine a pris un tournant inattendu lorsqu’elle s'est retrouvée sans emploi. Ces événements ont agi comme un déclencheur, nous poussant à intensifier nos recherches immobilières 🔍🏠

Les étoiles semblaient s'aligner, et notre rêve prenait forme. Les visites de maisons se sont multipliées, avec une dizaine en octobre, suivies de nouvelles en décembre. Et puis, l'événement décisif s'est produit : un coup de cœur indéniable ! 🥹 Nous avons soumis une offre, avec l'idée qu'elle ne serait probablement pas acceptée. Contre toute attente, elle a été approuvée, et depuis ce moment, tout s'est enchaîné à une vitesse incroyable ! 🚅

Certes, il y a eu des moments d'hésitation et de doute, mais grâce au soutien rassurant de Julien, nous avons surmonté ces incertitudes. On s’est dit que le moment était venu de donner vie à ce rêve, évitant ainsi de nous enliser dans la routine métro-boulot-dodo. La décision était prise, et ensemble, on a tracé la voie vers cette nouvelle aventure excitante! 🤩

Aujourd'hui, avec la clé de notre maison italienne en main, nous sommes prêts à écrire une nouvelle page de notre vie, et vous accueillir dans notre maison d’hôte. 🛏 C’est l'histoire d'un rêve devenu réalité grâce à l'audace, à la détermination et à l'amour partagé ❤️

Julien et Maurine, qui ont suivi leur passion jusqu'au bout, vous rappellent que tout est possible quand on ose rêver grand 🌟

La Puglia è una terra ricca di bellezze, tra di queste sicuramente ne fanno parte gli ulivi secolari. Alberi dalla storia millenaria, dal tronco spesso e molto robusto e dalle forme davvero estrose che rapiscono lo sguardo di chiunque gli osservi e l’animo di chiunque li tocchi con mano. Un patrimonio naturale dal valore inestimabile che contraddistingue da millenni questa terra, curato con passione e dedizione intramontabile dai suoi abitanti.
