World Heritage Sites in Japan☺️
🎊Shirakawa-go🎊
Shirakawa-go was registered as a World Heritage Site (cultural heritage) by UNESCO on December 9, 1995 (Heisei 7), becoming the sixth World Heritage Site in Japan.
It is truly beautiful and offers a glimpse of life in the Edo period and a great view from the vista. ☺️✨

Tomioka Silk Mill was Japan's first full-scale mechanical silk mill established in Tomioka City, Gunma Prefecture 😊.
The silk reeling factory, cocoon warehouse, and other facilities from 1872 still exist. The factory contributed greatly not only to the modernization of Japan, but also to technological innovation and exchange in the silk industry!
Registered as a World Heritage Site in 2014 (Heisei 26) ☺️

The highest mountains in Kyushu, such as Miyanoura-dake, tower over the island, and giant trees such as the Yakusugi cedar, which is over 1,000 years old, can be seen in the forests.
