Kenrokuen gardens, one of the most beautiful feudal lords' gardens in Japan
The name Kenrokuen means "having six elements" that bring out the garden’s stunning beauty.✨
The garden is located on the heights of the central part of Kanazawa next to Kanazawa Castle. The Maeda family, who ruled the Kaga Domain in feudal times, maintained the garden from generation to generation. 🌲🌲🌲
In Winter, visitors can enjoy the snow-covered landscapes with yukitsuri (which means “snow hanging”). Yukitsuri is a traditional technique for protecting the branches of the pine trees in the garden from heavy snow.❄

Snowmelt water from Mt. Fuji gushes out like thousands of white threads🗻😍✨
Greater volume of water tumbles down like white thread a huge arch-shaped rocky cliff with the size of 20m high and 150m long. 💧✨Shiraito Falls means, “waterfalls of white thread,” and the beautiful waterfalls got their name from the way that the subterranean water coming from Mt. Fuji looks like innumerable strands of silk as it flows over the lava cliffs.🌿🪨💦
It shows how much Mt.Fuji is filled with abundant water.🗻💧😳
