Today, the President and Managing Director of MGTO paid a courtesy visit to the Vice Governor of Mie Prefecture (an active golfer) and the Director of the Tourism Department. They exchanged opinions on the MOU project with EGA Thailand and the future promotion of Mie Golf Tourism. We hope that this will lead to some movement in promoting Mie as a golf travel destination.

This was the fifth exchange program between EGA and Mie. Not only from Tokyo, but also from Hokkaido in the north to Okinawa in the south, wonderful people involved in golf and golf tourism gathered in Mie. We are sure they had a meaningful time with golf professionals from Thailand.
Our friendship will continue for many years to come.

🇯🇵 Japan’s Cherry Blossom season is coming earlier than usual this year ..🌸🌸🌸

"Cherry blossom viewing" is called "Hanami" and it is a very old tradition in Japan.

Prime blossom viewing in Mie will be at the end of March / beginning of April. Come and join us, it's incredibly beautiful.

Combine it with a few rounds of excellent golf and some unique culinary experiences for a memorable time. Experience the charm of Mie!

Mie Golf Tourism Organization (MGTO), formed in July 2015, is a non-profit organization representing the golf tourism cluster in Mie.
