【Celebrating Setsubun on February 3rd】
Before welcoming the Spring in Japan, we have rituals of Setsubun, the last day of winter according to the old lunar calendar. People will chant "Oni wa soto (Evil spirits, out!), Fuku wa uchi (Fortune, in!)" and throw roasted soybeans to drive off the devil👹.
ASUKAⅡ is usually sailing in the warmer area on Grand Cruise in February and we would have the bean-throwing festivity by the pool.
Even though it's still cold in Japan, news of plum blossoms blooming is heralding the arrival of spring here and there.
Stay warm and take good care of yourself😊
