*VALENTINE'S WEEKEND FUN AND ADVENTURE TRIP*

LETS GO TO THE LAKE ISLANDS.

Day 1. 11th Feb. Departure from Nairobi. Arrive Takawire ISLAND for lunch.
After lunch and abit of relaxation we have a walk round the Rocky whitesands ISLAND, meet the people especially women drying omena. The ISLAND has many birds and butterflies. Evening we cross to Mfangano ISLAND for Dinner and overnight.

Day 2. 12th February.
Early morning fishing exercise. Go back to the hotel for BREAKFAST. There will be hikking for and beach swimming then lunch. After lunch we cross to Rusinga ISLAND for Dinner overnight.

Day 3. 13th Feb. After breakfast This day we shall visit Tom Mboya memorial gravesite. Go round the ISLAND, the ONLY passable by vehicle as you experience the beauty of it then depart for Nairobi arriving late evening.

ITINERARY.

Day 1: 7am Depart from SCHOOL compound headed to Kirinyaga through Murang'a. There will stop over in the market to experience the open farm produce and sales.

We will then proceed to Nokras Sagana Hotel for LUNCH.

After lunch we check in or proceed to a budget HOTEL in Kirinyaga.

Afternoon will be spent with artist Price, training basic of drawings. (See attached art work).
- visit to the Sagana fisheries.

Dinner and overnight at the either HOTEL.

Day 2. After breakfast we Depart to Mwea for Rice Farm Tour. The tour covers from seed, planting, weeding, harvest, factory production to final packed product.

thereafter, lunch.

After lunch we proceed to the village for traditional activities. There will be welcoming songs, dance and briefing.
-Tour to the crocodile park.
-Education on indigenous tree/herbs
-Site seeing of architecture on different types of huts.

We will have a farm tour to: 6 acres of banana plantation, few acres of sweetheart potatoes, daily farming with daily cows, bee keeping, rosemary herbs. We will farm manager taking us through benefit of each plantation and how they are prepared for food consumption.

In the neighborhood, we shall visit Tea FARM, Coffee farm. We shall interact with farmers.

In the farm there are scare crow.

Fresh lunch from the Nallah farm and start a drive back to Nairobi.
