It’s with deep sorrow that we have received the sad news of the demise of our former Director and Board of Trustee Chair Dr. Richard Leakey.

Kenya Wildlife Service conveys deepest condolences to the family. Dr. Leakey was passionate about wildlife and will be remembered for the bold steps he took to curb poaching in 1989. May his Soul Rest In Peace.
