WILDEBEEST CALVING SEASON
The Wildebeest Calving Season happens in the South of Serengeti, Ndutu Conservation Area and some parts of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Generally, the Wildebeest calving location is to the South of Serengeti National Park. Since the major Wildebeest crossings happens in Masai Mara Kenya between June to October, these calving season of Wildebeests happen in January to March of every year.
The South of Serengeti, Ndutu Conservation Area, and some parts of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area offer a very conducive environment for Wildebeests to give birth to more than 8000 calves per day. Isn’t this a world wonder? The grass is more green, also the type of grass they feed on is perfect for the young calves being born on a daily basis.
