7 Day Tour of Rwanda ( Kshs 47,500 per person sharing, HB)
Day 1 – Meet at Hilton at 6am and leave at 7am. Have lunch in Eldoret & Dinner in Kampala with specified bathroom breaks on the way.
Day 2 – Arrive in Kigali at 6am. Hotel allocation & Breakfast by 9am. Rest till early afternoon when we assemble and go for Lunch in the City and visit the Kigali Genocide memorial in Gisozi. From there we shall have a relaxed afternoon at the Poolside at Club Aloha.
Day 3 – After breakfast, we shall have a city tour of Kigali City. We shall visit the Kigali City Council to see the Kigali Master Plan, pass through the Rwanda Development Board to learn on business registration and opportunities in Rwanda. We shall end the morning with a visit to the Free Economic Zone. In the afternoon we shall go to Lake Muhazi. This Lake is 1.5hrs from Kigali passing through beautiful country sides all along the way. In the evening anyone with the energy and strength will be encouraged to sample the night life in the City. Sundowner, Car Wash, K Club, Club Next etc
Day 4 – After an early breakfast, travel to Gisenyi, the holiday city of Rwanda which is a 2hr drive from Kigali. Spend the day at the beach of Lake Kivu. We shall visit several interesting sites including hot water springs and lounge at the clear beach. We shall return from Gisenyi to arrive just before dark. In the evening we can go for bowling or go to Car Wash for their famous karaoke night.
Day 5 – Start the day at RDB, pass through the Kigali Industrial Park. From the spend the day in the Eastern Province of Rwanda. Visit the Ntarama Genocide memorial site which is a 45min drive from Kigali, this memorial site has been preserved much to the way it was in 1994. From here we shall proceed to the nearby Nyamata Town.
Day 6 – Visit the Rwanda Museum in the University City of Butare which is a two hour drive through the beautiful countryside. At the museum, we shall experience the Rwandan culture and dance and learn the history of the country prior to the Genocide. In the evening we shall have a tour of Rwanda by night.
Day 7 – Leave Kigali in the morning to arrive in Nairobi at 7am on the next day.
