September in Ala-Archa! The best weather of the year. We spent 3 weeks of September here - 7 peaks, rocks, snow and ice. Lots of rope exercises, rescue skills and more. It was a good time!

Weekend’s Activity. Last Sunday we did a walk with our "Climbing School" here.
Canyons of Konorchek or Eolian rocks occupy the eastern and quite a vast territory of Kyrgyz Ala-Too Range. They are distinguished by their bright red color. Here, between Komorchek and Kyzylsu river nature has transformed mountains into a work of art. Dry, with specific types of drought-resistant vegetation, canyons looks like of fantastic dilapidated castles, ancient temples, modern skyscrapers, columns and spires.

Last week we had a exciting climb to Korona Peak. Our guests have gotten a lot of mountain experience including helicopter flying. The weather was not the best, but we did it with Otto Schoch.

Southeastern part of Kyrgyzstan is occupied by Pamir Mountains. It has its own, very special nature, which is fundamentally different from Tien-Shan. Thickets of quaint archa - Kyrgyz juniper can be found up to an altitude of 3500 meters above sea level. Above a small area of meadows it smoothly turns into the glacial sediment - moraine. The mountain slopes are steep. There are rocks in all colors, from black and white to red and green. Local’s live measured way of life. They always invite the traveler to the house and give to drink hot tea.

Lenin Peak is a Pamir mountain with height of 7134 meters. Every year several hundred people from all over the world try to climb to this summit. The normal route to the top across the Razdelnaya peak, does not contain technically complicated rocky or ice parts. But do not forget that Lenin Peak is more than seven thousands meters and it is a real mountaineering expedition. To successfully complete it, you take about three week’s hard work on the high altitude.

We started our ski season in the interesting place. It was checking a new area for ski-touring. And now I can say: “This is the best place to start ski season”.
This is Russia, close to Lake Baikal - deep powder snow, regular snowfalls, the national colour of the Russian life. It is ideal for mid-November and all of December also until mid-January.

Arslanbob (Arslanbap) - a unique creation of the nature locates in the south of Kyrgyzstan. It is blossoming oasis at the altitude 1600 meters above sea level. Extensive area of fruit and nut forests in the valley of Arslanbob is the largest one in the world. Walnut forests are not the only attraction of the place. The air, the nature and the mountain landscapes are real treasures of this region. The rocky summit of Bobash-Ata peak (4430 m) majestically rises above the valley. Another interesting area of Kyrgyzstan.
Middle Tien Shan - the heart of a huge mountain system. One of the most inaccessible areas. Here is the famous Kokshaal-Tau Range with the border between China and Kyrgyzstan. Right here the grand peaks of Dankov (5982 m) and Kyzyl-Asker (5842 m).
There is no civilization, no highways and no people. But there are lot of wild mountains that have not been people before. There are thousands of Marco Polo Sheep and ibex, as well as wolves, foxes and other small animals and birds.
