The project of educating poor children and youth needs assistance from national and international sponsors for materials such as tables, chairs, whiteboards, books, computers, sewing machines and sponsorships for the students to attend school and for the volunteer teachers to pursue their studies at University. KIDTEA encourages social change to tackle the structural causes of poverty

, inequality and social exclusion. We are commited to accountability, innovation and collaboration. Our work takes us into the heart of communities, where we help children and families help themselves. KIDTEA has been created from the pure spirit and deep sentiment of the monks who are students and stay at Kesararam Pagoda in Svay Dangkum commune, Siem Reap district, Siem Reap province.

Come and join us for an ox powered cart ride through Speankae and Pum O villages. The traditional ox cart has been part of the Cambodian culture for over 100 of years. It will be an adventure to be remembered. Certainly, a highlight of your visit to Cambodia. We are just 11 km east of the city center of Siem Reap and are proud of our newly developed socially responsible tour excursion. Thanks to all our visitors who will get to experience, not only the beautiful Cambodian countryside, but will make meaningful connections with local people and gain a greater understanding of the local culture. Travelers will walk away with an insight into rural Cambodia and the local villagers will gain a sense of pride in their community, as well as reap the economic benefits for this win-win tour. We are offering 2 ) 1 ½ hour tours daily. One beginning at 8am and one beginning at 3pm. The tours are $6 per person and include a fresh coconut drink, straight from the village. Following is a list of add- ons, but note that we can customize any tour at your request.
Add-ons:
• Tuk tuk from Sieam Reap city center.
(If arranging private transportation please meet at 15 minutes prior to your scheduled tour.)
• Village tour with authentic Khmer cooking class, which will be located at the Hapiness House in Speankae Village. The cooking class will be held from 10 :30am to 11:50am. Tea and fresh water will be included, and lunch will be enjoyed by all. $14 total per person.
• The village tour with cooking class and a performance of traditional music. $25 total per person.
