As some/most of you may know I’ve been heavily involved in repatriating the last ever Cayman built wooden sailing schooner still floating in the WORLD, back to the Cayman Islands in time for her 75th anniversary in 2025. Currently she’s in Gloucester in the U.K. undergoing a major refit.

This is a complete not for profit project and we have attained our Non Profit Organisation certificate.

Fair Weather has had an amazing history in her short 73 years. From Bing Crosby, Bob Hope and Errol Flynn gracing her decks.
To having safely circumnavigated the globe with the first ever female boat Captain Suttie Adams she is a piece of living history that we/YOU can now help preserve!!

Fair Weather has been under refurbishment since March this year. Below are a few pictures as work steadily progresses. We have loads more which will be posted on our webpage www.fairweather.ky shortly.

Like any major project of this size and importance, it comes at a cost. A lot of people have expressed interest in donating. So below we’ve put a PayPal link for those who are concerned about preserving what is probably the last piece of Cayman’s maritime shipbuilding and seafaring heritage still floating in the WORLD!!
