Visit Ban Sopchem (Weaving village)
Tour itinerary : 13:00 p.m : Go by boat 45 minutes to Ban Sopchem ( a silk and cotton weaving village ). Between Muang Ngoi and Ban Sopchem is the most beautiful scenery of Nam Ou river surrounded by limestone cliffs, real jungles with big trees, arrive in Ban Sopchem, walk through the village, see how the locals weave, you can even learn how to weave, then paddle kayak about 2 hours back to Muang Ngoi, on the way you will see water buffalo bathing and people fishing

Visit Ban Sopchem (weaving village) and Khmu ethnic village

Itinerary : 13:00 p.m : Go by boat 20 minutes to Pha Sou camp, the starting piont for the first stage of trekking then an hour’s walk through primary, thick forest and under the shadow, this hiking trail is a real jungle trail then short trip by boat to Sopchem, walk through the village, see how the locals weave, you can even learn how to weave after that we walk an hour to Ban Hatsphuai ( a Khmu ethnic village), on this route we see the most beautiful mountain and river landscape, arrive Ban Hatsaphuai walk through the village, see how khmu ethnic live at the end we take the boat back to Muang Ngoi

Itinerary : Depart 10.00 am, we meet at the office, you paddle kayak 2 hours to Ban Sopkong by yourself, the boat captain is waiting for you there, you hike from there for an hour alone to the waterfall, on the way there is an organic farm where you can drink Lao coffee, after visiting the waterfall you hike back then you take the boat back to Muang Ngoi.

Day 01 : Muang Ngoi – Ban Kiuokhan
8:00 am : We alk two hours, partly through the stream to Ban Hoauysene (a traditional lao village with style houses, after the short break we walk up hill through the jungle three hours to Ban Kiuokhan, a Khmu ethnic village on the top of the mountain, here we have a very nice view, today we eat and sleep in our friend’s house.

Day 02 : Ban Kiuokhan – Muang Ngoi
8:00 am : After breakfast and say goodbye to the villagers, we walk about four to five hours to the river, lunch on the way or at the riverside villages then we take the boat about 45 minutes to Muang Ngoi

Itinerary : 8:30 a.m : Go by boat 10 minutes to Ban Hatjan, a traditional Khmu ethnic village, walk through the village, see how khmu ethnic live, at the end of the village we take the boat to the other side of the river, here we visit Ban Sopkhan, a traditional Lao Loum village, then we start with two hours hike through rice field and garden, on the way we see people working in the field, after two hours we arrive in Ban Pha young, it is a village of Hmong ethnic groups, after lunch break we walk two hours to the river, on the way we visit another Khmu ethnic village (Ban Tadlene), arrive at the river, continue by boat 30 minutes to Nong Khiaw or back to Muang Ngoi
