Peradeniya Botanical Garden is the largest and one of the most famous botanical gardens in Sri Lanka. Also, it is known to be the oldest botanical garden in Sri Lanka. It is located in Peradeniya town, Kandy district, Central Province. Peradeniya Botanical Garden is a botanical garden that is in the wet zone of Sri Lanka. The whole land area on which the botanical garden is spread is known to take the shape of a horseshoe. The Dambulla Cave Temple, also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla, is a cultural and spiritual gem nestled in the heart of Sri Lanka. Cave III, the Maha Alut Viharaya (Great New Monastery), showcases a reclining Buddha statue and various images of deities. Cave V, the Devana Alut Viharaya (Second New Monastery), contains several Buddha images and is the smallest of the caves.
