⚠️ Sri Lanka to resume flight operations from December 26 🇱🇰✈️
Sri Lanka will resume commercial & charter flights from 26th December, Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka (CAASL) announced today.

CAASL Chairman UpuI Dharmadasa said in a statement that the CAASL as an Aviation Regulator in Sri Lanka would be disseminating the appropriate directives to the travel industry in due course of the opening of Sri Lanka airspace for upcoming commercial and charter frights operations.

Notice to Passengers travelling to the Australia

The Australian Government requires all incoming passengers from 09th December 2020 to complete the ATD (Australian Travel Declaration) electronically for Covid-19 contact tracing purposes.

All passengers who are traveling to Australia should complete a travel declaration minimum of 72 hours prior to their departure for Australia and transit passengers also need to complete this.

Mandatory PCR testing prior to embarkation

With immediate effect as directed by the Ministry of Health in Sri Lanka all passengers departing and arriving in to Sri Lanka should

carry a Negative PCR test report in English at the time of checking.
The testing should be done within 72 hours prior to departure.
Failure to carry a negative report will result in not accepting to the flight.

Also, due to the current pandemic situation please request your passengers not to go out of the airports when transiting in other countries when travelling to Sri Lanka. In the event if a passenger go out of the airport while in transit he/ she should get a new negative PCR report for Covid 19 before boarding the flight.

Passengers departing from Sri Lanka should carryout their PCR testing on Covid 19 at a laboratory designated by the Ministry of health in Sri Lanka.

All passengers should carry their negative test reports throughout their flights to produce them to the relevant authorities when required.
