We recently travelled to Sri Lanka for two weeks.
We were three couples and wanted a guide for a tour around Sri Lanka after our first 4 day stay at Mermaid Hotel and Club,
The first evening we wanted to go Kalutara with Tuk Tuk and ran in to Raji's father, who was setting up a meeting with Raji,.
He arranged a three day trip to the Country with accommodation including half-board, for two nights.
We went on a river boat safari, saw a turtle hatchery, safari in Yala National Park, Ella waterfalls, cultural dance in Kandy, Tempel of Tooth, the Botanical Garden, a gem factory, a tee factory, a spice garden and the Elephant Orphanage.
After the trip we went back to Mermaid Hotel and Club and went on three more day trips with Raji.
Went to a local waterfall by tuk tuk, a spice factory and very local dining.
Went on a whale safari.
And the final trip was snorkeling trip to Hikkaduwa Beach.
We will highly recommend Raji as a tour operator when you visit Kalutara. He is kind and punctual, so it was nice to meet him and his family.
