Nakhon Pathom - Thailand

▪Nakhon Pathom is a city (the Saban Nakhon) in central Thailand, the former capital of Nakhon Pathom province. One of the most important landmarks is the giant Phra Pathommachedi.[1] The city is also home to Thailand's only Bhikkhuni temple Wat Song Thammakanlayani (วัดทรงธรรมกัลยาณี), which is also open to women from abroad.[2]

Nakhon Pathom houses a campus of Silpakorn University within the former Sanam Chandra Palace.

The city is 57 km west of Bangkok.

According to Charles Higham, "Two silver medallions from beneath a sanctuary at Nakhon Pathom, the largest of the moated sites, proclaim that it was 'the meritorious work of the King of Sri Dvaravati', the Sanskrit term Dvaravati meaning 'that which has gates'. The script is in South Indian characters of the seventh century." Nakhon Pathom was the largest Dvaravati center.

Siem Reap - Cambodia

Siem Reap is usually seen by travelers as among Cambodia's top places to visit due to it being the base for Angkor Archaeological Park, but the town itself offers more interesting attractions beyond the mighty temples.

This is the country's major activity center, with bundles of tours on offer, from cycle trips around the lush countryside just outside of town to Cambodian cookery tours.

Shoppers will also find plenty to keep them occupied, as central Siem Reap is brimming with opportunities to browse traditional crafts.

Street food is where people are in Thailand: everywhere. All along the streets and even between two cities, you can find some stands selling food and drinks.

This street food culture can be explained for several reasons, including the sense of service highly developed in Thai society. Meals are so inexpensive and delicious that everyone prefers to eat in the street with friends than waste their time cooking at their place. In the cities, and particularly in Bangkok, many Thai do not have their own kitchen; this is why you will see many of them eating in the street.

*Safari World and Marine Park- Thailand❤

Safari World is an animal and leisure park based in Bangkok. Tour the Floating Market – Damnoen Saduak

There are several floating markets around Bangkok, but Damnoen Saduak is the most famous one. It is around one hour from the city and we recommend booking one of the Thailand packages that include a boat ride and entrance fees to avoid the long queues.

The tour starts with a colorful long-tail boat that takes you on a ride through the river and to the main area of the floating market. Once you arrive, there are countless stands selling delicious local specialties (highly recommend mangoes with sticky rice), clothes, Thai silk, souvenirs, and refreshments.

There are three dining options available at the park. KFC is the most popular and offers a menu that is a combination of local as well as American snacks. Bangkok is known as temple central, with a number of famous temples dotted across the city. We’d recommend you start your first day by visiting a few particularly since they are all relatively close to one another.

*Wat Phra Kaew

The Temple of the Emerald Buddha, the Wat Phra Kaew is known as one of Thailand’s most sacred and revered temples. It’s handily located within the Grand Palace grounds, so you get a two for one deal here! The Buddha itself is quite small, standing at only 66cm, but is unique in that it’s crafted from a lone jade stone.

Phuket province is located in southern Thailand. It is the biggest Island of Thailand and sits on the Andaman sea. The nearest province to the north is Phang-nga and the nearest provinces to the east are Phang-nga and Krabi.

Phuket has a large Chinese influence, so you will see many Chinese shrines and Chinese Restaurants around the City. A Chinese Vegetarian Festival is held there every year. While the Chinese community is quite big, there are many other ethnicities bringing all their traditions and festivals from all over the world to Phuket.

Being a big Island, Phuket is surrounded by many magnificent Beaches such as Rawai, Patong, Karon, Kamala, Kata Yai, Kata Noi, and Mai Khao. Laem Phromthep viewpoint is said to feature the most beautiful sunsets in Thailand.

It isn’t all just Beaches though, there is also fantastic classical architecture such as the Goom Restaurant. That and the very welcome atmosphere and the famous Phuket NIGHTLIFE, you can see why the Island is a hotspot for tourists in Thailand.

Chiang Mai is situated in the highlands of northern Thailand, Chiang Mai is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country.
