Latvian Micro Class Yacht Association is a community of Micro class sailors and supporters. And Latvia has hosted the World Championship twice.

Besides such great powers as France, Russia, Poland the class is widely represented also in Latvia according to number of similar design yachts. Since year 2002 one of Euro Micro Cup competitions are organized in Usma Yacht Club. The Micro is the ideal boat for initiation and training to the regatta in inhabitable boats. The beginners should not hesitate any more to join the family to learn how to

control their boat in full safety and thus to benefit from it fully thereafter. The Micro it is also one of the best adapted supports of transition for the young competitors when between sport sailing on dinghys and competition in open sea.
