We’ll transform our restaurant into a vibrant creators market on Sunday 22 September. Welcome at the VIAVIA SOUK EDITION.

Artists and creators living in Marrakech expose their beautiful, cute, stylish designs and original products all handmade. Some will also present pre-loved clothes and second-hand items.

The DJ plays funky music. 
The ViaVia team serves tasty food and drinks.

After the succes of the first edition we know:

We have something new for you!

Discover the art of Arabic calligraphy and Moroccan Arabesque. A grandmaster share his +40 years experience in this workshop. You learn some ancient techniques and make your own piece.

A creative time with a grandmaster in our beautiful ViaVia restaurant.

On Monday 10 June, you can choose for 1 or 2 workshops:
• Arabic Calligraphy: transform your name into an artwork. Workshop is from 11h30 till 12h30.
• Moroccan Arabesque: create your own pattern on wood. Workshop is from 13h till 14h.

Price: 300 dirham per person for 1 workshop.
If you join 2 workshops it is 500 dirham per person.

Location: ViaVia restaurant, next to vegetable market at Bab Mellah, medina of Marrakech.

Ramadan Mubarak! 🌙✨

During the holy month of Ramadan, you are welcome every Wednesday in March for an iftar evening.

🥣🥚🥞☕️Iftar is the meal taken at sunset to break the daily fast. On Wednesday 13, 20 and 27 of March at sundown (around 18h45), we serve a traditional Moroccan iftar. Your “breakfast table” will be filled with a mix of sweet and salty food, just like home and with the good vibes of our restaurant.
After iftar, you’ll be served a tajine made by our chef Lalla Rachida.

Accompanied by live spiritual music, this iftar experience will be complete! ☪️🎵

For 200 dirham per person you get
an iftar meal (harira, msemen, baghrir, briwat,… and juice plus coffee or tea)
a tajine (vegetarian or chicken lemon or beef dried fruit)

With ViaVia Marrakech Helps, we are setting up a fund to help earthquake victims. Now with emergency aid and later with reconstruction and investments where they are needed most.

What can you do?

✈️🇲🇦 Visit Morocco. Let your planned trip go on, adjust the itinerary if necessary but don't cancel your trip. Many affected families are supported by their families from cities as Marrakech working in tourism and hospitality.

⛺️🔦🧥🍼 Support with materials. In your luggage, bring warm clothing, torch, sleeping bag, care products, baby and child items... In ViaVia, we will collect this and deliver it to the affected people.

Na de aardbeving is ViaVia Marrakech ongedeerd maar ontzettend aangedaan. De hartverwarmende berichten en de steun die onze gemeenschap krijgt hier en vanuit het buitenland is enorm.

Met ViaVia Marrakech Helps, zetten we een fonds op om de slachtoffers van de aardbeving te helpen. Nu met noodhulp en later met heropbouw en investeringen waar ze het meest nodig zijn.

Wat kan jij doen?
- Doe een gift aan ons earthquake solidarity fund.
BE71 7360 1995 3469 (Joker ViaVia Projectenfonds) met als mededeling ViaVia Marrakech Helps.
- Bezoek Marokko. Laat je geplande reis doorgaan, pas eventueel de route aan maar annuleer je reis niet. Vele getroffen families worden gesteund door hun families uit de steden zoals Marrakech, die werken in toerisme en horeca.
- Steun met materialen. Breng in je bagage warme kledij, zaklamp, slaapzak, verzorgingsproducten, baby- en kinderspullen mee. In ViaVia verzamelen we dit en bezorgen het aan de getroffen mensen.
- Verspreid de info. Door deze solidariteitsactie bekend te maken, help je ons om meer donaties op te halen en zo meer slachtoffers te helpen.

Marokko ligt de Belgische touroperator Joker en Anders Reizen nauw aan het hart. De geldinzameling organiseren we samen met hen. Giften vanaf 40 euro zijn fiscaal aftrekbaar.
