Phoenician tombs : Heritage And Culture
This Punic-Libic necropolis of 1400 BC, popularly known as Phoenician tombs, is one of the most emblematic places in the city. Situated in a privileged location in the Marshan district, it consists of 108 tombs excavated directly on the rock in a gorge where locals and visitors like to go to see the Strait of Gibraltar and the sunsets. A key place in the mythology of the giant Anteo and Hercules, many of the archaeological remains found there are on display in the Kasbah Museum.

Café Hafa :Heritage And Culture
Opened in 1921, Café Hafa is one of the most famous and mythical cafés in the city of Tangier. Located in an environment of unquestionable beauty, built on terraces on the rocks of the cliff of the Marshan, the charm of this café, which seems to float above the crossroads of the Strait, has attracted bohemians and travelers from all over the world for decades, inspiring intellectuals such as Jean Genet, Mohamed Mrabet, Luis Eduardo Aute and the members of the Beat Generation.
