The physical and chemical properties of the water in Banishte bath are a primary attractive and motivational value.

The bath features three springs: Nova Kaptazha, Gornji Bazen, and Donji Bazen. These springs differ in terms of yield, temperature, and radioactivity.

The highest water temperature is found in the Donji Bazen spring, at 39.3 °C. The lowest temperature is in the Gornji Bazen spring, at 36 °C, while the Nova Kaptazha spring has a temperature of 38.8 °C.

"Debar Baths" are located to the north of Debar, on the slopes of Mount Krchin, at an altitude of 870 meters. The mountainous area in which they are situated does not impede access to this spa. Nearby, the regional road Skopje – Debar – Ohrid branches off to an asphalt road leading to the baths.

The area features thermal springs of alkaline sulfur waters. The two structures that are temporarily protected were built in different architectural styles, likely around the same period. They are functionally unrelated but, according to Pavlov, reflect the architectural style of Ottoman construction from the late 18th and early 19th centuries in Macedonia. Due to their documented value, the Debar baths from the village of Banishte have been considered worthy of temporary protection for the past year and are part of the National Register of Cultural Heritage.
