ion on your All terrain Dune Buggy Excursion in Cabo San Lucas! Your friendly shore excursion guide will meet you just steps outside your Cabo (short for Cabo San Lucas) cruise tender pier. From there, your air-conditioned van will take you to the Buggy Excursion base camp where your dune buggy vehicle waits. Once at the base camp, you will need to pay an entrance fee of 10.00 USD per person to access to the Natural Reserve (not included in the price of this excursion). The friendly dune buggy shore excursion staff will pass out your off-road riding gear, explain the buggy driving instructions and safety rules before you get in your automatic transmission off-road all terrain dune buggy vehicle. After you have stored your personal belongings in the lockers at the buggy excursion base camp, you will put on your goggles, tie on your bandana, buckle your safety belts and strap on your helmet. Then it is time to start your engines for a great adventure excursion in Cabo San Lucas! The sand buggies are easy to drive with just a gas and a brake pedal; they steer like a car and have an automatic transmission so no shifting involved. Your Cabo Buggy Excursion guides will lead the group out into the desert with one in front of the pack and the other bringing up the rear. Enjoy driving these fast all-terrain buggy vehicles through a variety of terrain. From brush lined trails, to the sandy river-bed to Half Moon Canyon and Tree Rock. Then you will have a rest stop where your cruise excursion guides will pass out cold bottled water and share some stories about the local area. Then you will get back in your off-road buggies and head out! You will pass down the dry river canyon (arroyo) where a special buggy trail has been set up. Enjoy some high-speed twisty s-turns and jumps. Your guides will continue on to where the river bed opens up to the Pacific Ocean of Los Cabos and Baja California. You will get to drive your dune buggy vehicles right on the beach and take in the views crashing surf and the wide open beach. The views are incredible and you might just spot whales off the shoreline during season (December to April). Your dune buggy guides will provide cold bottled water during the excursion as well, just ask. When you arrive back at the buggy excursion base camp, there is time to relax and view the photos that the staff took along the way.
