Perlita’s got a rooftop patio area and pool too, so you can watch the sunset with a margarita or two. We'll provide a great space for you to kick back and relax. Most of the major furniture is made with reclaimed wood by Oscar Flores of Greenverde. Casa Perlita is a lovely place to get back to the basics. Guests at Casa Perlita have an all access pass to Isla at its best. 2 large bedrooms – both with balconies, 2 full bathrooms – one master and one on the main floor, a rooftop patio and pool, an infinity pool out front (the fountain turns on at 1pm), and a full kitchen (no dishwasher though). There are tvs in both bedrooms and the living room. The home offers 2 couples the right amount of privacy, but enough space to sleep 6 with the two additional couches in the living area. If you're doing things right you will see the same people over and over again during your stay. Stop, say hi, chat with them. They don't mind your broken Spanish if you don't mind their broken English. Everyone is friendly and willing to help if you need it. We believe traveling is about new experiences and meeting new people and Isla Mujeres is a great place for both. Transportation wise - Walk, rent a golf cart, take a cab - the island is not that big and you'll be able to get around pretty easily whichever way you choose. We recommend using CARM (cancunandrivieramaya.com) for airport transfers. They are local and very responsive. Other details about the home: We have a guest book that has just about everything you need to know about the property. We have a cell phone in the home so you can make local calls. The pool fountain comes on at 1pm and we have pool noodles to use for floating as well. The pool cleaner comes twice a week. The wifi at the house is ok, we are working with Cablemas to get a more reliable connection. In case the wifi is out, just walk down Juarez to Cafe Mogagua. They have great food/coffee (and a bar) and relatively reliable internet. Above all, please say something if you need something. We will do everything we can to accommodate.
