Small or large groups! Your private guide will greet you outside the cruise ship terminal building and get you into the air conditioned transportation. You choose who and how many join you! It is your private 5-hour excursion. As there is no set schedule or route, you let us know when you book what you would like to do. Depending on how much and where you and your private group would like to go, y
ou may need more time but that can be arranged for an additional cost. Below are some ideas to help you make your game plan for what you might want to do and see but it is totally flexible and up to you to decide. For groups of 15 to 40+, you will have a guide and a driver. For smaller groups of 1 to 14, the English speaking driver will be your guide. You will receive a lot of interesting and educational stories and history about Cozumel, the Mayans, Mexico and more. Depending on your group size, your transportation is an air conditioned van (driver/guide), mini bus or full sized coach (both with guide and a driver) so you will sightsee in comfort. Below are just some of the examples of what you can do. Note that entrance fees to some sites, parks, ruins, etc are not included and must be paid directly to the venue (cost estimates listed below). When you place your reservation, you will need to let us know what your group would like to do so arrangements can be made. -Can include city sightseeing and waterfront drive, leisurely around the island scenic route with photo stops (Mirador rock bridge), stop at eastside restaurant for break where guests may purchase lunch/beverages at their expense, stop at El Cedral (Mayan village and first Catholic Church), free tequila tasting
Sightseeing and Beach:
-Can include city sightseeing and waterfront drive, faster paced around the island scenic route with short photo stops (such as Mirador and eastside beach), and stop at a westside beach club such as Mr. Sanchos pay-as-you-go-side with no entrance charge and guests may use facilities such as lounge chairs, shade, swimming pool, order from restaurant/bar menu at their expense)
Sightseeing and San Gervasio Mayan Ruins:
-Can include city sightseeing and waterfront drive, stop at San Gervasio Mayan Ruins (entrance fee is approximately $10.00 USD per participant - paid by guest, approximately 2 hours at ruins), faster paced around the island scenic route with photo stops (Mirador rock bridge), stop at eastside restaurant for break where guests may purchase lunch/beverages, stop at El Cedral (Mayan village and first Catholic Church), free tequila tasting
Mix and match, switch out one site with another. You can customize your excursion with downtown shopping, a stop at another one of the local Cozumel restaurants (at guest's expense), a stop at Chankanaab Marine Park ($21.00 USD adults, $14.00 children), a stop in the local museum ($2.00 USD) and so much more.
